The Pitbull
Name: Bronx
Gender: Male
Age: 2 years
Rank: Marine (or whatever the equivalent of that is in the agency ), Private First Class
Personality: A young private with a lot of expectations. He's a little cocky, and has a taste for adventure. Most of the time he's brash, disrespectful,sarcastic, rowdy, and the first to start a fight. And he's not one to mess with; the scars on his face and neck are from a brawl that his unit had with a cyborg, and he was the only survivor.
History: Born the biggest of his litter, he was destined to be a tough dog. He had difficulty adjusting to being the lowest on the military hierarchy because of his dominant attitude, which got him into a lot of trouble in his training days. When out on his actual duty, he was involved in two skirmishes, one involving a group of human dog-hunters and another with a cyborg, where he lost the rest of his unit. Surprisingly, he doesn't seem to regret this event much at all; at least, he's good at hiding it...
He enjoys food immensely - surprisingly, he's not fat after everything he eats. It all seems to go straight to his stomach. He gets irritated when others (especially Bruno) poke fun at his eating habit, but it doesn't stop him. His favorite foods are man-made, including potato chips, hot dogs (his favorite), hamburgers, and cheesy poofs. The only kind of food that he refuses to eat is fish, because they "taste nasty and are kind of creepy lookin'." (quote from him)
He also loves to work out, focusing mainly on his strength and endurance by pulling weights. Any kind of work out, though, he's up for. Most of his energy is put into working out. Sometimes, he can over-work himself, resulting in sickness the following day. Even when sick, though, he'll try to push himself.
The feeling he hates the most is emotional pain and confusion, which is why he tends to avoid getting into intimate relationships with others. He's slow to admit feelings (not as slow as Sparta, though!), but he'll take any advice to heart thats given to him.
Of the group, he's the biggest flirt - any pretty female that happens to be crossing paths is a target.
Lastly, he's afraid of bees, because he's allergic to them. If one stings him, he'll swell up and look funny. But if two sting him, his throat will close, and he'll be at risk of dying.
Favorites: Fighting, steak, hot dogs, running, being active in general, being the boss, females.
Dislikes: Being an underdog, pity, weakness, fear, being insecure, bees, fish.

The Akita
Name: Sparta
Gender: Male
Age: 4 years
Rank: Special Unit, Assassin, First Lieutenant
Personality: Sparta is the very definition of serious. In fact, most of the time, he's so serious and quiet that one could question his motives... he has a way of making himself look suspicious without actually intending to. He hardly laughs, cries, or shows pain. The only emotion he really expresses is rage during battlefield, or utter confusion when he's in love. He very much tries to stay away from that horrible 'L' word, by the way, because he thinks its a sign of weakness. He doesn't complain about anything, which always puts him up for being a candidate for things that nobody else wants to do, like perhaps trudging through a snowstorm to find something, or sneaking into a cyborg's lair. He hates the fact that he doesn't complain, but he won't open his maw to say anything.
One thing that he will complain about, though, are loud, obnoxious, or boisterous dogs (like Pip or Bronx...).
He cannot stand them, and tends to get aggressive (sometimes physically) if they bother him.
History: His father and great-grandfather were both famous war-dogs for their actions in defeating cyborgs, so since his birth, he's had a lot to prove. He put everything in his life aside for perfecting the art of silent killing, deciding to take a different path from his very non-stealthy sires. He's never loved, smiled only once, and cried twice in his whole life.
Favorites: Silence. Not much else.
Dislikes: Love, noise, obnoxious dogs, humans.

The Bernese Mountain Dog
Name: Bruno
Gender: Male
Age: 6 years
Rank: Colonel
Personality: A sturdy, even-tempered dog with a brilliant mind for battle tactics and a good heart. He loves a good joke, drinking, and leading charges into battle. His judgement isn't always perfect, but he tries to fight for the greater good. Most of his men... er.. dogs... call him insane, very few find his 'rush in now, think later' kind of fighting style effective. But really, he's a fast thinker, and he wouldn't be at the rank he's at now if he wasn't.
When you think of him, just think of a drunk irishman and you've got the basic idea |D. He's hearty and cheerful, and doesn't let anything bring him down.
As far as females go, he's not very interested - he had a love, but unfortunately, she was taken by the humans, and more than likely killed. He'd prefer just being single and hanging out with his manfriends, anyways. Sometimes, though, you can see him staring dramatically at the moon and thinking about her. On rarer occasions, he'll cry.
When he loses a dog that he's leading, he punishes himself for weeks, believing that its his fault. He doesn't eat, hardly sleeps (although when he does, its full of nightmares), and hardly even speaks. When he gets over it, he's twice as determined not to lose anymore dogs.
History: He ran away from home as a young teen at about 7 months to join army training. He was eager to fight after learning about the cyborg escape. He endured three years of hell after that, killing cyborgs, humans, and sometimes stray rogue dogs. He watched his friends die around him, and he has nightmares about this frequently. It took him 5 years to rise to his rank of Colonel, but he's very proud of his rank, despite the nightmare he went through to reach it.
Favorites: Good jokes, booze, laughing, leading a charge.
Dislikes: Death, silence, awkwardness, loosing men.

The Corgi
Name: Pip
Gender: Female
Age: 1 1/2 years
Rank: Private, Medic
Personality: Young and full of energy, Pip suffers from severe amnesia; she doesn't remember anything except that her name is Pip, and she's been in the army for awhile. She's generally bright and tries to be positive, but sometimes she'll go timid and very awkward and twitchy. She's good at picking out small details, and she's also an excellent medic.Not only is she educated with man-made medicines, but she's also taken time to study wild herbs for use in medicine.
She has the attention span of a retarded chipmunk, which might also have been a result of her post-trauma. She likes butterflies, and will stop whatever she's doing to follow one, unless she's working on treating a wound, which is the only thing she can focus on for extended amounts of time.
She tries to surround herself with bright and cheerful things, which could also be one of her brain's defenses against what she witnessed.
History: Her amnesia was triggered by the horrific events of war. In one horrible day, she witnessed a massacre that would soon be known as one of the worst of the war. Cyborgs ripping dogs in half, young dogs screaming in agony and laying bloodied and dying on the battlefield, and worst of all, having to amputate limbs while dogs were still conscious. It all just stressed her out so much that, in defense, her brain just... wiped it all out.
But, god forbid that these memories suddenly come back to her, which they could... *possible plot twist :O*
Favorites: Flowers, butterflies, treating mild wounds, non-cyborg cats, Shep.
Dislikes: Excessive blood, loud noises, aggressive dogs.
