Ytskra is no longer part of this competition, and this entry has no meaning or input into Pharoh's competition. Just wanted to be clear, good luck to everyone else! ( but Vesuvius is still running for the spot of being Sealand's mate!)

Vesu-" Well, to start off I was made by the god Vulcan from the stone of the volcano I was named after with lava flowing from my head. The horns are from an incident with a certain spring...( greek mythology tells of a hunter named Actaeon who watched Artemis bathing in a spring, so she turned him into a deer) Being made of stone has it's benefits... I eventually turned into a statue and slept for a couple hundred years and lost my leg. When i woke up, I was on some volcanic island off the coast of Italy. Lucky for me, a Victorian inventor took residence on the island and built me a replacement leg. In return, I keep the lava away from his house when I make the volcano erupt to keep the tourists and resort companies away. Even with him there, it gets fairly lonely..."

Here's my entry to Pharaoh's contest... I started the shadows but they're not done yet. I might add some more but I'm not sure if I'll have time. That is a heart on the lower right but I figured it made no sense being under them and the pic. doesn't reach far enough to see the whole thing. The layers are seriously messed up, I kept forgetting what layer I was on and doing something that didn't belong on that layer so (this is my first time working with Oekaki)... Anyway, that was one extremely disjointed string of sentences, ah well

hope you like her, I worked really hard on it. Her theme is junk washed up on shore that created something beautiful

I tried to make spots of amber...don't know how well that turned out, but oh well.

*edit* I put wings on her,sort of natural/steampunky I dunno how to do the segmented wings. I did i separately so that the pattern on the corset below isnt disturbed <3 hope this looks better.

I made the heart as real as possible, and the wings... I don't really know what steampunk is. Her necklace has a gear with some wings based off the wings on her back. I miscolored them, they're supposed to be either that color or red.

Worked a while on this one; it was so fun to experiment with fur patterns and textures XD What an amazing lineart!! Thank you so much to Tundra and KaiKen for letting me use it! It was fun just to participate in your contest!

Heres my girl.

The elusive Elaphanteel swims gracefully through the seas using its earfins for locomotion and its trunk for sucking up its prey. You rarely see the Elaphanteel because it blends in with the shadows but you often see the swishing lines in the mud from its dragging tail.
