So I hope posting this works out. This is for booklover789's contest for a character named... Rocktalon!!! (who would've guessed by the title? ) Mostly I did this for practice for coloring natural cats, but entering something you can have a chance of winning doesn't hurt! I read over booklover789's do and don'ts and went with some characteristics from the breeds that were do's. I should have done a gray tabby, but the brown fit much better with the eyes. (which I'm very proud of!) The claw mark over the left eye is supposed to resemble the second half of the name: talon. Maybe this brave warrior got into a fight with a hawk or owl as a 'paw? I'm not sure, but thought some scars would build the backstory and (maybe) the name a bit better to the cat I created. Enjoy!

You're the first person to incorporate scars into their piece. I applaud you for that. I love his pattern as well. Well done.

This is forest fire. She is a young wolf. Forest Fire has markings of fire and wind on her pelt.

Alright, the male's name is Thrust. He was originally an science project before he escaped. They made him half metal. He ran into woods far from there, meeting like his own. He followed him to a small camp. They were all half-metal and had special abilities. Not powers. Just better strength and speed and stamina. (Etc)
They were planning on invading a large tribal camp. He leapt after them, not wanting to seem like an outcast. Although he really didn't want to raid. And for what? Nothing. Just to mess with them. He continued, finally reaching the tribal wolves. They had armor, but it wasn't exactly attached to them either. He ran into a cave where several slept, as it was the middle of the night. He scared them all out except for a female. He cornered her. She looked at him fiercely. "Do as you wish to me. Kill me if wanted." She told him.
He was confused. He shook his head. "I don't even know why I'm here." He looked down, disappointed in himself.
"Come with me."
She followed him out. He looked for the leader of his own kind. He looked up at him, trying to get him to stop. Yet the leader shook his head. "No, Thrust. I won't leave them."
Thrust looked back at the fae and nodded. He turned back. The leader was a very strong wolf. Nearly all metal. With a metal heart too. He jumped onto him. He pulled the wolf down using his weight. The leader snarled and kicked him off. Thrust got up and charged after him. He yanked his tail back as the leader tried to run a little to gain distance. Thrust instantly jumped as the leader slid back. Thrust again took him down by his own weight. The leader clawed him on his muzzle, drawing blood. Thrust screeched and stepped back.
The female gasped and jumped onto the leader. She found a furry spot on him and started clawing.
The leader screeched and jumped up. He went psycho and bubbles came from his muzzle. Everything was suddenly quiet. He dashed to Thrust and bit his neck fur. Thrust turned to scrape him, actually blinding him in his only eye. He howled in pain. Thrust took him down. Eventually, he bit on the metal on his neck, denting it in to suffocate him. The leader died cold and lonely.
Everyone was staring at him in disbelief. Such a strong leader killed. He killed him. The steampunk wolves slid onto their bellies as if to respect him. The tribal wolves were hovered together in a corner, crowding around their dead members. Everyone but the fae. She was looking at Thrust in the eyes. "Thank-you."
He looked at her and nodded. He held his head high, walking to the Tribal leader. She looked at him coldly. "Get out. Never come back. You'll be torn to shreds. Leave!" He dipped his head. He led his own to the exit. He turned back to the fae he met earlier and dipped his head. He left. He was gone.
The fae screeched. "No!" She ran out the exit chasing after them. "Wait!" She called. Thrust turned to her, signaling for his own to leave. "Yes?" She sat down. "Why? Why didn't you kill me?"
"I couldn't. I may be half metal, but I'm not cold blooded......."

Seeing Mango's post, I think I'm got a little explaining too... XD
The male's copper colored cords are actually pumping energy from his body to a mechanical leg. (It looks just like his other.)
His eyepatch was there since the scientist removed his eye. The black dot is actually a pupil. He can see through it. It can turn clockwise/counterclockwise on command. The only thing is, he can't see straight with it. It was tilted at an angle, so he'll never see straight from that eye.

This feels like it took forever....
I was so tired the colouring is all messed up. I'm terribly sorry. I might edit this later on to fix the errors.

Erm, well, this guy is snow/winter themed, and is blue, since you wanted some blue. The Moon Necklace glows, and gives him his abilty to shapeshift.

My entry for wolflover878's contest Hope you like it!

Accessories and Design:

A blue and silver glowing rose in her mouth.
Red feather necklace.

Soft blue eyes.
Purple, blue and black blended pelt.
White stars placed around body.
Silver speckles over her eyes and down her back to her tail-tip.
Blue speckle-tipped ears.
Red speckled paws.
White speckles all over her body to signify snow or something.

All speckles are made with 1 pixel pen using the Scattering tool (Besides stars of course.)

This is my entry!

This character is a tiger. His fur is smeared with deep ocean blue and monochrome waves. They ripple like real water when he moves. His stripes burn bright with fire, giving a peak at his inner spirit. The tiger is brave and loyal, fiercely bright. He can be calm and cool when necessary, however, giving him the ability to drench his fire with soothing water.

I do apologize if my art is not the best. I figured this contest was more about the design than our artistic abilities. :3 I hope you like it, and feel free to change the gender, color, story, or whatever!
