Welcome to my "CAS!"

It's pretty simple I guess. Draw me a species that fits what I like, but I do have certain rules for entering this competition, too. The prizes are here. There's currently 8 rares and 3 2010 Uncommons. So, without further ado.

Rules!
1. No copying someone's species.
2. I'd prefer smooth, neat lines.
3. Please don't whine if you don't win

Dislikes
Insects
Spiders
Snakes
Complete all cutesy stuff. (I like cutesy to a point, but don't make it die-hard adorable.)

Likes
Wolves, Foxes, Cats
Hybrids
Night skies, including the moon and stars.
Accessories like top hats, scarfs, armwarmers, ties, necklaces, bracelets, wings, etc.
Jewels, gems, sparkles...
Clouds

Other stuff to give you ideas on what I'd like
I don't really like one-gendered species... I like having one-gendered baby lines, and then an adult male and adult female lines.
My favorite bands are Fall Out Boy, Skillet, Staind, Breaking Benjamin, Crossfade, My Chemical Romance, and Linkin' Park.
My absolute favorite song is My Darkest Days - WIthout You.
I'm a strange person, I'm scene but girly and a tomboy ontop of all of that. xD

I only have prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, but they'll probably change as I get more time, I'll add on some more pets. c:

If I do decide to go past this, they will not be rare or anything, and randomly picked pets. Anyone who gets a Runner-Up PM has the opportunity to be either an artist or a guest-artist if they'd like to.

Note: Because of my lack of keeping this up to date, and bumping constantly, it's been extended, and the end date is TBA. I'll edit this later, if I don't close it from my lack of activity.

Hi there you guys! How have your day's been going? Good? Well, i just want to thank you for stopping by, i really appreciate it!

I am looking for line art of my species, i can't draw that well on the internet (( Look in my gallery, it all stinks :c )) so i am looking for some line art, and i am paying quite well!

Here is the link to the species mascot by the way, he is a sort of rare type, but his kind should be available occasionally ~> viewtopic.php?t=1968135

Here is some species information for y'all c:

Talisco's, or what are commonly known as Tal's, are a species that live high up in the mountains, in the tropics, or underwater. They range is size from a guppy to a tiger/lion/big cat (Depending on gender). The ones that live on land's diets consist of, smaller mammals, fruits, candy, or insects (Depending on type and size). The ones that live below the sea's diet consist's of candy, fish, or seaweed and other aquatic plant life.

There is several types of Talisco's, here is just a few:

- Candy Cavers- CC's live in caves (( Hence there name)). They usually reach about 4 feet in height. This particular type has the ability to stand on it's hind legs. It usually has a slimy coat, like chocolate, that often drips while they walk. Other's have hard scales that look like certain candy's, and others have short fur that shines

~

- Under Coat's - Under coats are the species that live below water. They USUALLY have gills on there sides and fins for ears, some just have gills and vise versa. These guys usually only grow to the size of a shark, and there is only one kind but they can have several different mutation's.

~

- Mountain Roamers and Fright Leapers - MR's are the shaggy coat kind. They all live in cold regions, mostly up in high mountains. They are the biggest species of Talisco's, despite the harder to find one's, the FL's. The males of this kind are mostly as big as a grown lion, and females just a bit shorter, if not a bit taller. As always, they can have mutation's, making them seem different. FL's are the most rare type, they have only been spotted a coupe times. They seem like normal MR's, but the difference is they tend to stay away from cold and light, only coming when the sun doesn't shine. Occasionally they are spotted dashing threw the forest in broad daylight, but what spectators noticed is that smoke comes from them when light hits there fur. When spotted at night, they have glowing eyes and foggy fur (( By foggy i mean literally fog)). They like to sneak around, waiting for prey to come. These are the most aggressive. There size ranges from a large dog to the size of a full grown buffalo.

Dreambound Character Contest - WINNERS ANNOUNCED

All characters most likely accepted and used in the story. I will inform you if there is an issue.
First prize goes to the most creative and unique design. The first prize winner must have spent at least 30 minutes on their drawing. They get to pick three pets from here.
Second place will go to a very unique design, though not as unique as first place. The second place winner must have spent at least 20 minutes on their drawing. They get to pick three pets from here.
Third place will go to a design that a lot of effort was put into, but it will not be as unique as first and second place. The third place winner must have spent at least 10 minutes on their drawing. They will get to pick three pets from here.
All those who did not place will have had very good designs but they will not have caught my eye or will not have made it into the places for other reasons. The prize will be one free small art piece from me, which includes Avatars, Pixel Art, and some small fullbody/headshot variations. Please no complicated designs. I found this thread accidently, and I a bit confused and angry.
The descripion you made sounds exactly like my species, the lion equids.

I would pleased if you could change the species, otherwise I would have to report you to a mod, for copying my ideas.
I'm sure there is an explanation, and we can solve this quickly.

I am extending the end date to the 20th of September. I've got exams to concentrate on early in September so I won't have time to judge at that point. I was also hoping for more entries then what there currently is.

Finally, I need artists for my species!

If you don't know about my species you may proceed here.
If you do know and you're interested in becoming an artist for this species then you've come to the right place.

I don't have a certain number of artists I am looking for, I could pick out 2 or I could pick 20. It all depends on how good I think all the entries are.
Prizes:
There's no first, second or third place. Only a handful of winners. These winners will become permanent artist for Siren adopts along with a choice between 20 to 25 Chicken dollars or any one pet from this group.
Winners can keep their entries as customs if they want.

What exactly I am looking for:
~ Creative and interesting designs
There is no limit on the colours a Siren can have but please don't slap on a whole rainbow or make eye-bleedingly bright designs.
~ Good line art edits
Many Sirens have fancy feathers or something that makes them a little different from other sirens so I want artists who can pull off line art edits nicely. Not all entries have to have edits but I recommend you draw at least one entry with edits. I don't mind if you re-draw the whole line art if you can't edit my lines properly.

Tips:
- All Sirens have a dark 'mask' around their eyes, they come in different shapes so don't be afraid to edit the mask or draw your own.
- Please don't make unrealistic edits like removing one tail or adding in extra pairs of wings. If you've got a great idea but you're not sure if the edits you want to make a reasonable, don't be afraid to ask me.

Rules:
Other then the standard rules of CS,
~ Only 4 entries per user
~ Don't erase my signature, you can move it around though.
~ Please don't use religious symbols in any design.
That's pretty much it, I'll add more if I see fit.

End date is the 1st of September so there's plenty of time!

if you read this, color in one hoof red
make sure all facial and leg markings have smatters of main color! (I used size 1 pencil with 1000 scatter and 100 spacing)

Enter a max of 2 entries each time
enter as many competions as you like

(one held every weekend Friday to Sunday)
First competition will be open all week to entrants

1st place: perm artist position+1 custom+50 HS
2nd and 3rd: guest artist position+25 HS
4th-6th: 12 HS
the rest: thanks for participating!

I'm looking for a few artists for my new species, Milky Way kits. <3

Milky way kits are foxes with a flowy galaxy tail, their orbs contain the essence of their galaxies, their bodies are slightly transparent and stars dot their bodies. They are ethereal beings, but they love to mess with people and play tricks. According to legend, Milky way kits are believed to have come from the stars , leaving a trail of colorful dust and stars behind them as they moved across the universe.

Milky way kits have bright, colorful tails with many different colors. Their tails are rarely every dark or a pure white color. Their orb color matches the colors of their tails and never mismatches, as a part of their tails is rumored to be enclosed in the orb.

Their diet usually consists of fruits and meat, though mainly fruit because their bright tails tend to give them away when they try to hunt.

Despite their mischievous nature, they are faithful creatures and when they find a mate they stick with them for life. Their love for their mates is endless, just like the universe is endless. They can sometimes have relationship problems, but this is very rare.

Rules!

1. Do not claim this species as your own!
2. You are allowed up to four entries per person.
3. Do not complain if you do not win!
4. No lineart edits.
5. Do not copy designs or you will be disqualified.

New rule

Accessories are fine as long as they don't cover up a major part of the body or your whole design. jewelry is fine, but long dresses, hoods, hats, etc are not allowed. I'm looking to see your designing skills and don't want anyhow to cover the whole design up.

*Please also note that until you begin to make adoptables, you will be counted as a 'Guest Artist'. After I have seen your designs, and if I like them consistently, I may promote you to a full-time artist.

I know, there's tons of these competitions going around, and I'm a bit hesitant to throw my own out there... However, I would actually like to start making these guys and get them out to the public. Everything you need to know about them can be found right Here. You must read the second post there before applying. Plain and simple. If you want to become an artist, you need to understand how the species works and what to do with them. I would also suggest you take a look at the first Will there, and read that post as well. It will give you a better understanding of what I am looking for in these entries and later in the adoptables. Please do your best to follow these guidelines, and if you truly wish to become an artist, please read them, it's not too much.

Rules:
1. Do not color these in unless you are willing to spend your time creating these adoptables.
2. Do not whine or beg to win or if you didn't win. (I count posts such as "I'll never win this..", etc... As whining.)

What is a garden rabbit?

A garden rabbit is a great dane sized rabbit creature they have a plant growing up there right leg from the time they turn 2 weeks old the growth will complete at 1 year and continue to left leg (males) or on head (females). there fur patterns usually look somewhat like there plant. They also have hair on there head that looks different on each rabbit.

About

They are about the size of a great dane
Males have antler thingys and plant continues to left leg.
It is also VERY rare for a male to have floppy ears and they typically dont have flowers as there plant .
Females have spots and no antlers and the plant continues to the head around the ears they can have both ear types.
Both male and females MUST HAVE hair on there head (you have to draw it)
they have claws for digging on front paws
they dont have paw pads just like normal rabbits
they can have any plant

if you are extremely good at lineart edits, go for it! it will give you a better chance. (longer tail, different mane, tail fluff, longer mane, etc.)
if you win, you have to be an active artist.

I'm making a fursuit but I only have 2ish 3 colors..
black... and red..... and grey/white (oterwise called grey husky on distinctive fabrics)
.. epends on if my friend lets me use her scraps... the most important parts are hands tail and head... it's going to be a partial...

so test your ability to come up with a design, and i'll make the one I like best... I don't know about pries yet other than the prde of having one of your disigns as a fursuit head

FDs has started to die. And I want to liven them up again with new artists! Yes, the current artists get to keep their position. But, I want new artists. ^^

Try not to make ones with eye-hurting colors
Try to keep away from editing lines
You can add accessories
The don't have a limit to colors, but don't make rainbow ones. Refrain from making rainbow manes and tails. I want to keep that unique to Sunbrilo only. Try to stay under ten colors, please.
Any colors are fine, I just look for the design. But, try not to use eye-hurting colors
I like Minecraft (No, this doesn't mean go crazy and make a ton of MC based FDs.)

Wow, that was fast, huh? And why haven't I done this with the Chubby Bunnies, you may be wondering? No, you aren't. I know you aren't |D Because, quite frankly, the Lapili are more important to me. Don't get me wrong, I love my Chubby Bunnies and all, but I've been planning and developing the Lapili and their world for months - I'd hate to see that vanish into oblivion so quickly!

So, anyway, here's basically what you need to know!

1. If you win, do your best to be active! Remember, we're looking for people to design these guys and adopt them off, not just to take the name of artist and do nothing with that power .3.
2. Maximum of three entries per person. It's always good knowing the limit of how many times you can enter, after all~
3. Original designs only, please! I'd really rather not see blatant copies of other characters and whatnot. If they're inspired by a character in a game, book, movie, etc., that's fine, but please don't copy them outright c:
4. Respect others. Don't like someone else's entry? Perhaps some positive criticism rather than an "lol this sux!!!1" (Note: I do not expect to see this behavior from others. Just had to be overly flamboyant about it |D). And if not... Well, just don't comment! ^^
5. No whining. Going hand-in-hand with being respectful, please don't whine about other entries or where you place in the contest. Think an entry's really good? Feel free to tell them! Just don't go "OMG this is so good ill never win now :cry: :cry: :cry: ". Not happy with your place when the contest is over? Just congratulate those who did win and keep practicing - There'll be more contests later, I assure you~!
5. Have fun! This alone is easily the most important thing, beyond even the designs themselves - If you aren't having fun and enjoying what you're doing, why would you want to keep doing it~? I want you to design us some Lapili and have a good time doing it!

Tips:
Line edits are encouraged. While I don't want all your entries to have them, as it's mostly about designing, I'd like to see what you can do with it! (Especially with mutations being an actual breed of Lapili~ (And, of course, custom lines are always awesome to see .3.))
Avoid eye-burning colors. A splash of bright colors can draw attention to a dark or dull character, but no sparkle Lapili, please! We don't need neon snakes wandering around here c;
Use lock alpha. Or at least do your best to color neatly. Neat designs and in-the-lines coloring is always a plus ^^
Try to put some variety into your designs. While not required, seeing variation in a person's designs can really boost their points!

This is a competition to become a permanent artist of the Shugorei's. Please only enter if you are serious about becoming an artist.

The end date will be the 17th of September.

Please read everything on the main thread regarding rules for artists.

Prizes will be:

First: Official artist for the Shugorei
