so here are the rules

1.use your own lines
2.if you win i will keep it and you will get the VR rat and if your a runner up you get to keep your entry
3.put colour in it
4.if you win you must give me the codes so i can put it anywhere i want
5.the codes will be put in 3 sizes small,large and medium if you dont know how to do that get someone else to do it for you
7.you do have to use the back ground

I decided that I want one more artist to work on my stable, so I'll be holding this contest to find one. Blackberry Hill Stable is quick growing, we already have a handful of artist and many members. We have free adoptables, acutions, breedings, and customs and lets not forget fun events ever month. If you don't want to be an artist here that's fine, just drop by your main stable and adopt. The Stable

Note these are not my lines, and aren't the lines we use at Blackberry Hill Stable.

Rules.

This contest is for people who want to be artists only.
Two designs per person is the limit.
For rainbow colors or designs.
These are horses, so lets color them like horses.
You have to be on almost everyday to enter.
The winning artist most make more than seven new horses a week.
The winner also gets to charge for breedings and some events.
What I say goes, and you need to listen to me.
Have fun.

The winner gets a free custom horse or foal either done by themself or by one of the other artists. They also get to be the Decemeber Artist of the month, and get paid for to make customs. Along with the choice of an of my unlocked pets that you would like. More will come...

Mel is one of those "I'm unique and I like it" type of people. She loves to go out and have fun with her friends. Mel also is a tomboy so she is occasionally covered in mud. Melli is also very understanding and is often the person that comforts another and helps others aswell. Being an animal, she loves to run in the wind and swim.

So what do you expect my story to be about? Mel being all plain colored and then becoming unique? WRONG! If you really want to know you better keep reading.........
As usual at this time of day, Mel headed out to the forest to go visit her pet. Now I know what your thinking "Oh it's just like a butterfly or somethin'." Well no. Her pet is a forest sprite. Mel and Brucie have been friends since Mel was just a youngling. As Mel headed into the forest she noticed something different. The leaves of the trees were all a little shriveled and not a sound could be heard, except Melli's soft padding. Glancing worriedly around Mel keeps going and reach Brucie's tree homet. The window that was usuaslly shining a bright green was now black. Mel cautiously climbs up the steps and knocks on the door. "Brucie? You in there?" she calls glancing around. Raising her paw about to knock, Melli spots a path of green footsteps, Brucie's footsteps. Climbing back down the steps she begins to follow the trail. The trail led her to a beautiful grotto, but some how the place seemed, well forbidding. Gazing around Mel spots a greem bundle. Cautiously she pads closer to it. She nudges it with her nose and steps back in horror. It was Brucie. She was all shriveled up, and her eyes were closed. Her chest no linger rose and fell in her own unique pattern of breathing. Shaking her head in disbelief, Melli rushes forwards and pokes Brucie with her paw. With tears in her eyes Mel sits down head bent in sorrow. "No! You can't be dead! No!" She screams lifting her head and staring at the sky. Brucie had been the spirit of the forest protector, of aniamls and plants. What would happen now? Melli lifts Brucie onto her back and heads to a place only she and Brucie knew of. The green lake. It was a beautiful green lake surrouned by rough turrean and mountain ranges. By nightfal Melli reached and tiredly lays down. She lays Brucie next to her and falls asleep. Black, everything went black. Shaking her head in confusion Melli looks around. Amongst the black was a shiny green hazy fog. Mel takes wobbily steps towards it and it eventually envelops her. Melli closes her eyes in the haze and hears a voice. "Let go Melli. Let go of me. I will go to a better place, a place where I canwatch over you and protect you for all eternaty." the voice says. Melli frowns and says "Brucie?" Her eyes snap open and she is back by the lake on the grass. Glancing where she left Brucie her eyes widen in shock. In Brucie's place was a letter and a tail charm. Carefully unfolding the letter Mel reads:

Smiling Melli heads back to her village and resumes post of Forest Guardian for as long as she lives, knowing she was where she was mean't to be. Now a days the forest is in perfect health, but the aniamls now have a new threat.......Humans.

Actually not, it's a cold colors inspired design which is supposed to look a bit mythical. It's my entry in a character design contest.

Please re-read the oekaki competition rules before starting a contest: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=96206

It's no longer allowed to have "grand prizes" or other prizes that might change or not be given out, all listed pets must be given out at the end of the contest.

Hello!
I am looking for a lineart for my new adoptables called fox trot dragons! Please only intermediate/moderate artists.

what's a fox trot dragon?
A fox trot dragon is a furry dragon with paws, and fox like ears. They have long, furry tails with a puff at the bottom of it. They have horns above their fox-like ears, and a dragon-like snout. They sometimes can have spikes, but not all the time they do. A fox trot dragon has large wings, about half the size of their body. They can be found in high up areas in the land, like bluffs and moutians. Fox trot dragons aren't very common even in the places they live, though. They are carnivores, and usually eat things like rabbits, and squirrels. Male fox trot dragons are slightly larger than females, although females are stronger. Males sometimes have to fight for a mate, and for that reason, they have spikes on their puffy spade.

what would i like to see?
I would like to see seprate layers for spikes and spiky spades.

So, technically it's just a contest where you make a Christmas tree. The end date is January 15th. Prizes are below.

First prize: This dog and any 2 pets from my doubles group, or one 2011 pet. No, it doesn't come with the outfit.

Second prize: You pick one of them and one double from my doubles group.

Third prize: This cat

And everyone who enters gets a consolation prize of a double that I have.

What am I supposed to do for your contest Iktome?:
Well, I'd like you to draw some lines for me because unfortunately I don't seem to have the skill to do so right now.

Mmm... Maybe I'll try it out! What exactly do I need to draw?:
- Small legged feline build
- Lion face
- Long canine teeth
- Long stiff rabbit like ears usually held at a "folded" position
- Bulky lion tail
- They have a mask molded onto their faces that "spike" off at the top of it's head. (ref coming soon)
- There are spikes coming off their backs just where the tail meets the back
- Eyes aren't very big but rather thin and mostly feline like

Is their a reward for this?:

A silvagrub is a grub with spikes, on its tail and back, sometimes they can have wings. A silvagrub can also have cuffs around thier tails, alike mints. They come in many shapes, and range between 3-6 inches in length, 2-4 inches in width. Yes, a silvagrub can fit in the palm in your hand. A silvagrub comes in many colors and diverse patterns and such. They are usally smooth in texture, but can be furry.. Although its uncommon. Silvagrubs can be found in marsh-like areas, and the woods. They also range between 1-2 pounds. A silvagrub is very friendly, but are known to accedentailly prick peoples fingers with thier spikes evrey now and then. They cannot talk, but people seem to know what they are saying if you stay with them long enough. legend has it that they can create a telepathic field to communicate with others. They dont neccisarilly have many powers.. but some of them do.
