Today had been another great day. I hope you heard the sarcasm in my voice. My mother filed for a divorce again my father this morning, and you know what? He didn't even hesitate to sign in. My father was going to move to Arizona while I was stuck here in Branson, Missouri. And who knows? Maybe dad would take me. Either way I lost one of my parents. I had summer school. It was a real long day. And guess what? Once I started walking home, it rained. Although it was humid, I still had my jacket on. It didn't help much. The pouring rain went right down my shirt and soaked me. So I stopped by a near by gas station to but an umbrella. The only one they had left? A girls purple and blue clear umbrella. This day just kept getting better. I started walking again, going through a near by park to get home. Half way through I slipped in a puddle and fell to my knees. I considered standing up, but I didn't have much waiting at home for me other than a packing father and a yelling mother. So I just sat there in the puddle, my jeans getting soaked through. Before I knew it, a light gray dog with floppy brown ears and brown splotches all over his body was right in front of me. I stared blankly down at the dog, wondering if he's bite me. In a flash, the dog had licked my freckled nose with a light pink tongue, staring up at me with his copper and green eyes. Slowly, I put my hand on his neck, running my finger through his slick fur. I guess I'd gotten a new friend.

............................. The picture gave me all the story. I just had to color it................................

At that moment, Chainen hated her colors. Hated the colors that made her different from everyone else. To different for her family, her friends, her pack. She lay there in the quiet darkness, tears streaming from her eyes. What was she going to do now? She couldn't go back to her pack. She was an outcast.
Her thoughts were interrupted by quiet footsteps. Chainen sighed and turned her head. She sucked in a sharp breath when she saw a bright blue wolf staring at her.
