This fella is my first try ever at using Chicken Paint. Im so beyond excited to finally have a laptop to use and not just my phone!
I know he is far from perfect and I have a long way to go with learning techniques to better blend and color these ponies. But Im still really kinda proud of him

Breeding Lore

Hallows breed during October when their activity is highest. Hallows will chose ONE breeding partner every year when they come to our plain, some will keep the same mate each year and others will find a new one each time. Hallows will only breed ONCE during October and a pair can have litters of up to 2 pups per litter, which will be fully grow and ready to breed by the next year.
During a Hallow's mating season, it's the Females that will seek out the males. She will keep her distance and study him for a day or two and if intrested will engage him in battle. If he allows her to defeat him with little effort then the fight ends as a dance of fire and shadows, but if he rejects her the male will push her aside or defeat her in battle and leave.
After a Dance is completed the two will find a quiet dark place to rost and together build a nest for their offspring out of anything soft they can find. When the eggs are layed the mother will keep them warm for several weeks until they hatch, she will also care for the yougn span until the fallowing year when they are fully grown.

✹ You may keep all offspring or place them up for free or paid adoption
✹ Co-owned batches permitted
✹ You may own as many offspring as you'd like

✹ You may purchase potions BEFORE breeding
✹ Don't steal the species or create your own

It is Free to breed your Hallows and you may breed as many pairs as you wish. Each Hallows can only breed ONCE a year so chose their mates wisely!

Egg Stage::

The egg(s) develops very fast after a pair mate, it only takes 5 days for the eggs fully develop inside the mother and she will rost on them another 2 weeks before they hatch. The Eggs are smooth and often look like stone with a sleek shine to them, They are about the size of a melon. every Hallow egg is also marked with the species demonic symbol.

Spawn Stage::

At this stage the egg(s) hatch and what comes out is a hairless rat-looking creature of the underworld, that in a few days turns into a fluffy, clawless, harmless little ball of cuteness. Spawn or Kin have long, thick, super soft fur to keep them warm when they're young and won't lose all of it or grow claws & horns until thy're older. Baby Hallows really are so cute that they're evil! Kin are about the size of kittens when they first hatch and spend most of their youth about the size of a pig.

Adult Stage::

Hollows grow fast but can live forever! As they grow Hallows will shed their soft baby fur, developed horns and claws and be able to breed all by the coming year. You can go [HERE] to grow your baby from last year, or check out our potion shop below to breed your own Hallows!

Present in 1 parent: 50% chance of being passed onto offspring.
Present in both parents: 100% chance of being passed onto offspring.
Present in 1 or both grandparents: 25% chance of being passed onto offspring.
Trait not in family line: 10% Chance of offspring getting trait.

PPS (Permanent Puppy Syndrome): 25% That offspring could randomly receive a form of PPS
Type A (Don't grow to Adults): 20% Chance of developing into Type A Syndrome.
Type B (Grow to adults, but don't grow horns/claws/etc.): 5% Chance of developing into Type B Syndrome.

Here you may buy potions to use before you breed your Hallows, each potion has different effects and you can make your Hallow Spawn even cuter or rarer with a few potions! but please read over the potion Shop rules first!

Common Trait Potion

This potion will let you pick 1 common trait to give your offspring such as:

This potion will guarantee that your Hallows have almost identical twins.

This potion will keep your Hallow span little fluffy and cute forever! With PPS Type A, your hallow will never grow up, develop horns, claws, spikes, soul pouches or be able to breed.

PPS Type B Potion
✹ 7 C$

This potion will give your Hallow Span PPS Type B, Your Hallow will grow up but will not develop horns, claws, spikes or be able to breed.

A little extra Potion
✹ 6 C$

This potion will allow you to pick 1 of the fallowing mutations to your offspring!

- Hair
- Mane
- Fur edits (+more or -less)

MYO Breeding
✹ 12 C$

This potion allows YOU to breed your own Hallows and create the outcomes! (1 time only, you may pick how many pups and mutations. However, you MUST breed fairly and not include traits your Hallows don't have/ you didn't pay for.)

Most of these kids are adopts I've bought throughout the years I've been a Smoothian but two are totally random designs I've come up with on the spot.

In this we've got Jep, Maximus, Bagheera, Taishiro, Elliot, Cloud, Gizmo, and Milo~

The timesr is off because I got distracted for a while and left this open while fooling around with my family in the living room. I also lost inspiration on the last two cats so I just removed them altogether.

What are Hallows?

One Month out of the year during October the hallow comes alive with more creators of the night then ever before. Hallows are said to come from the spirit world or underworld and surface from the shadows and fetch the souls of the dieing before returning to where they came. Hallows are entities of darkness and not really living at all, they come and go as they please and don't live by physics. Hallows are said to be very rare to catch of glimpse of and will often stay out of sight of humans, most call them Hell Hounds, Devils & other names.
