Here's the short explanation I wanna rewrite the MLP universe and for once this isn't a next generation universe.

Long explanation the mlp universe got reset by a villain and now Equestria (and the entirety of the pony world) are no longer the same and that goes for the ponies. They are different and have different names but most are counterparts to the original world ponies. They may or may not have the memories of their counterparts as well. The original ponies technically no longer exist and rather exist as their counterparts. Not every pony will play the same role as they once did...some things are mixed up. For example the counterparts of Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor are cousins rather then siblings.

Also I thought I'd include this, but only the pony world got reset so the human world (equestria girls) is fine, but anyone from the pony world (such as sunset shimmer from the pony world) is stuck there and cannot go back...this is subject to change as i write. I just don't like the Equestria Girls universe at all so I'd prefer not to deal with it and thats my excellent idea to avoid it.

I don't have everything figured out, but I figured this would be a fun project since I have something to work off of and I dont have to think too hard about it. OH NO I JUST REALIZED I'D HAVE TO FINISH MLP FOR THIS TO WORK OUT. I didn't think about that 😅

Hi im going to write stuff down here. none of these characters have been renamed so they have placeholder names as of right now.

ResetVerse Fluttershy is a caretaker to a few animals but a lot of plants. She owns two rabbits, both normal and not sassy. She loves having them around and would do anything for them, but her real passion is her large amount of plants that she has. Indoor, outdoor, food, etc. Nothing major like fruit trees or trees in general. She can be known to be awkward and shy. She has known to be rude or freak out at times.

ResetVerse Rarity is both a model and a fashion designer. She's pretty well known for modelling at the start of the story, but is trying to branch out into fashion design. Many ponies in the industry look down upon her and doubt her. She's just a model, what could she possibly know.

Resetverse Twilight Sparkle is the daughter of ResetVerse Celestia and Resetverse Sombra. She has lived a lonely life raised by her aunt ResetVerse Terra (an oc..she's the princess of the earth). Her mother celestia has been plagued with nightmares the majority of twilights life (subject to change as to how long theyve been going on). Twilight lost her father when he was recently trapped in the crystal empire after he went crazy due to nightmares. The Nightmares are caused by Twilights aunt Luna, who has been trapped inside of the moon for past however long. luna has just recently gained the ability to cause her sister and brother in law nightmares. Luna is soon to break free and her powers are slowly returning to her. twilight is mostly unaware of this, shes heard things here and there. terra did not want to worry her with this thought for the majority of twilights life so she has kept most of the details secret for now. probably not the best idea. she spends most of her focus on magic as of right now. ever since she was young she has looked for a way to cure her parents nightmares, thus causing her to develop an interest in magic. twilight spends most of her time alone, besides the time she spends with her family. twilight has no friends outside of her cousin resetverse shining armor. He's not around much anymore, due to his royal guard duties. celestia spends most of her time trying to stay healthy and well and attempting to rest. she has a special unicorn to aid her with sleep. celestia rarely wakes up rested...shes tried everything but nothing works. therefore she is unfit to rule alongside her sister, leaving terra to rule alone. terra is raising twilight to become heir and rule with her. soon twilight will have to learn of her aunt lunas existence in the moon and defeat her. luna doesnt have much time left in the moon so twilight must prepare..but she wont be doing it alone. terra has scouted across equestria and has found the ponies that match the elements of harmony. now the group must harmonize and work together to stop luna...this wont be an easy task...since they barely know one another and can be known to butt heads at times.
