hello and thank you for your interest in this species! the artist search is open and actively looking for artists to become part of our founding team. if you would like to be a part of Bleub staff but not as an artist, please see below for forms and further instructions.

before Bleub Adopts officially open, I would like to find a group of dedicated artists and admins to work with for a smooth and successful launch. I also want staff to have input on rules/regulations/functions before opening to start Bleubs off on the right foot! if you are interested, feel free to create designs here to showcase your skills OR if you would like to submit preexisting design work, please dm me. I strongly recommend working on the Bleub lines at least once!

your time and work are valued and there are no strict expectations concerning the amount of work you do for the species (outside of some limitations to ensure there is not an abundance of owed work). your compensation directly reflects your labor and you are encouraged to participate to whatever capacity you feel comfortable with. if you are inactive for a time period of six consecutive months, we will reach out and ask if you are still interested in being a member of staff for the species, then proceed based off your response

• you can create as many entry designs as you like - but know we look for quality over quantity

• your entries should be primarily basic, common, or uncommon. you may make up to two rare entries. very rare and mythical entries are not allowed.

• these lines are ONLY for creating entries to become an artist for the species - they are not for personal use - do not create your own or color in your characters

• do not remove the fake sign or "not a real bleub" watermark from your entry

• this species will be expanding outside of chickensmoothie (likely to dA and Instagram), so if you are uncomfortable with your work being posted off site, this may not be the species for you

• PNG and PSD files are located here, off oekaki entries should be sent directly to me - DO NOT MAKE A COVER

• for anyone who would like to apply as a nursery artist - please dm me for details as there will not be an official nursery artist search on oekaki in the near future

• for anyone who would like to apply as a growth artist - the amazing stan. has created some fake joeys that you can grow to show off your skills! you are welcome to add edits up to uncommon rarity to show off your linework skills, but the most important thing is accuracy to the original design

• how do staff compensation perks benefit you?

- if you choose to use your tickets to create a design for yourself or a friend, you will have free reign within the limits of your custom voucher's rarity to create something unique for yourself.

- you may sell custom vouchers as a myo. the official Bleub shop will only be opened 4 times a year for a single week, but you will be able to sell yours year-round. this will drive people who are looking to purchase myos off season to you, thus eliminating a good chunk of competition. there will be set prices you can sell custom vouchers for, but you can charge more if you are willing to offer a custom design along with the voucher

- if you design a Bleub to sell, you are entitled to 100% of the profits and can earn however much you want for your design in any currency you desire, including but not limited to art, pets, c$, usd, points, ect. note: the ability to create paid work must be ‘purchased’ with tickets, unless using the one allotted paid slot per month. the ticket amount corresponds to the rarity of the paid adopt/nursery batch/growth.

Nefier Dragons are a species of dragon native to the land of Hystill, Nefier's are one of the only 3 breeds of which co - habit with humans, Hystill is split into 4 factions, the north, a bitterly cold land who favour large and fiery dragons. East Hystill which is likened to a mountainous landscape, littered with caves and tunnels who favour dragons who can cruise at high altitudes. South Hystill, a water-locked faction who rely on low flying small dragons to aid with their fishing escapades and finally West Hystill who favour larger and faster dragons to glide over fields as quick as possible.

These creatures are funny long dragons with very fashionable manes.
They come in a variety of colours and traits, and some have some funky accessories.



I'm looking for some friendly people to take on as artists to help me get these guys kicked off!
Have a go making some funky creatures using the traits below.

Traits/Edits: Traits may be added/moved over time

[Standard]
Expression, pupil, standard fur/mane/tail/ears, brows, eyelashes

Ears, tongue, eye shape, mane (head & spine), weight edit, goop/liquid

Teeth, claws, iris shape, double iris, wings, missing limbs/prosthetics (max 2), tail

Extra ears, fur edit, polydactylism, transparency (portions of body), exposed bone




Rules

- Do not use these lines to create characters/colour in.

- Please don't make a cover, just post entries straight under this oekaki!

- Please make at least two designs.

- As we do not have MYOs yet, please do not claim designs just yet!

- You may use any traits, but keep in mind uncommon and rare traits aren't
as common as common traits, so I'd like to see how crazy you can go with
the standard and commons traits!

Couple of rules!

- Do not remove the 'Fake' sign (you can move it about but don't delete it)
- Do not use these lines just to colour in or for fun, these are for artist entries only
- Make at least some line edits in one of your entries. To try and encourage this most of the premade fins have been deleted and you're left with only the fins you can see up above, this is to try and encourage you to draw your own!
- List all traits used. You're welcome to use unlisted traits as well just make sure to list them in your entry.
- You can keep your fish if you become an artist (if you want). Just bear in mind if you used an unlisted trait, I might ask you to remove it if I don't think it's a trait that should be allowed
- Artists are expected to make at least 1 adopt a month. The more the better naturally, if you can't make any adopts for a month and haven't contacted me I'll contact you to check you still want to be involved with the species.
- Failure to post for 8+ weeks (unless there's an extreme situation you cannot control) will result in me removing you from being an artist. I won't do this without notice though I will contact and warn you first I won't be unreasonable.

if you are interested in practicing on our lines, or creating entries in the hope of becoming a goob artist, this is the place to be!

we are looking for quality and effort, and want to see inspired and dedicated artists.
there are no minimum required entries to be considered for a trial position.
