What are the Woltern?

The Woltern is a wolf / eastern dragon cross breed also known as 'The Warriors of Urkir.' They are with attributes of an eastern dragon.

What do the Woltern look like?

The Woltern are large, thing wolves with attributes of an eastern dragon. They feature a set of whiskers coming from their muzzles in varying lengths. Their have a set of nose platelets running from their not to just between the eyes. The Woltern typically has a set of horns coming in four different styles: The curved horn, an antler-like horn, straight horns pointing backward, and straight horns pointing up. At the end of their long legs they may have feathering, also in varying length. They have a relatively short tail for their great size.

Wolterns normally have a natural colored base coat, yet they also have unique markings along their body. This is due to war-paint. In honor of the dragon goddesses, the Wolterns paint their coats. This paint stains their coat for the rest of their lives.

What about the armor?

The Woltern armor is said to be a projection of their inner self. To say, more light-hearted Wolterns may wear a lighter armor, or a more hardy Woltern may wear a bulky armor set. How decorative the armor is depends on personality as well. A rather plain Woltern may have very plain armor.

Younger Wolterns in training get a set of default training armor. This is normally just from plain scrap metal to cover the basics in combat.

The Liyena is built like a lion and hyena. It has the shoulders like the hyena, and neck is slanted down slightly. It has a mane that starts between its shoulder blades and it turns into a hair lock, like a horses forelock, Look here if you don't understand this. Its tail is a lions tail, with the normal tuff on it, and when it gets angry, the tuff and mane will turn into a flame, but not a normal fire color, very rarely. Its claws can unsheathe and sheath like a cats. Its jaws are long but thick.
Well, since Lions and Hyenas both are Carnivores, the Liyena is a carnivore. They are found in Africa, where they eat the normal dietaries of the mix of animals.
They mostly feast on Gazelle, Zebras, and Wildebeest

The Liyena base color is always a natural color, from white to brown to black and tan, think cat-like. It may be something between to colors. Then the Liyena has it's own distinctive markings, to tell them apart. The markings can be any color, from white, to rainbow. There are rarely a Liyena without markings, they are thought to be the abnormal. Then you come to their mane and flame. Their mane is a darker shade of their base color, and their flame is any color. Their eyes are any colors.

1. You may make as many entries as you wish, but know this: we're looking for quality over quantity!

3. Line art edits are encouraged on at least one of your entries.
4. You should only make entries if you are seriously interested in an artist position. You are not allowed to make MYOs, customs or otherwise any adopts from this thread.

Most modifications are allowed, within reason.

You can add essentially anything you want to a Seraphillon. However, the tail must remain moth or butterfly-shaped. In regards to the wings, I am willing to compromise. They must have at least two pairs of wings on their body, OR one pair of body wings as well as the ear wings. If you're uncertain on an acceptable tail shape, or otherwise would like trait approval just to ensure no changes are needed, the Discord is the best place to ask. You may also PM me on ChickenSmoothie.

Excessive body horror is not allowed.

This adopt posted on ChickenSmoothie is a prime example of something that would not be allowed in Phis. While I want to cultivate a community that is as creative and free as possible, I would like to avoid most graphic horror and themes. That being said, if you would like to make a scary Seraphillon, or otherwise use horror themes, I can discuss with you privately your particular concepts and whether or not they will be permitted.

Staff are allowed to sell 1 of every 4 adopts they make in Offer-to-Adopt or auction format. This adopt must be the fourth of four that they have made. You may also "save up" these paid slots and do gacha batches, etc. with them.

Staff are awarded 1 MYO ticket for every 4 adopts they make, which they are allowed to sell, use, gift, et cetera, at their own discretion. The designed MYO character can also be sold without consideration to the previous rule regarding OTA/paid adopts.

Undesigned MYO ticket sales are permitted but must not exceed a total of $20 usd. For the purpose of our rules, this is equivalent to 380 c$. Individually imposed values on C$ to USD are not considered for this valuation. There is no value minimum or maximum imposed on premade design OTA/auctions.

!! Artists DO NOT have to be able to draw both cats and dogs in order to send in entries !!

1. All staff must have and use a discord account for communication.

2. Trial artists have a trial period of 30 days (roughly one month) before being evaluated by full staff for acception or denial of a full artist position. Trial artists may deny an offered position or cancel their trial during the trial period.

3. All artists may make runner up designs for adopts, however they must be connected in some way to the original design (same breed, same coat type, ect.) while having their own custom lined image.

4. Full artists may accept custom designs on the shop thread for their chosen price (CS Pets, C$, USD, DA points, or some kind of art trade), however the designs have to stay within the restrictions given by the SFA design guidelines.

5. Full artists may make designs for auction/sale if they are more complex/unique, have been approved by the owner, and are only selling/auctioning for CS Pets, C$, USD, or DA points. Keep in mind auctions that only allow USD/DA points may be locked or warned by CS staff due to the rules of the site.

6. Trial artists may not make any design for auction or sale until after their trial is complete, if they are accepted.

1. Designs must be based upon real images or genetic knowledge present within SFA. They may be simplified/stylized, please confirm a design with a staff member before posting.

2. Unique markings (ex. A spot that looks like a heart/flower) should be confirmed with a staff member before posting. Copyrighted or group related markings are not permitted.

3. Every design needs to come with a separable collar, no exceptions.

4. Every design needs to have a shelter story blurb. If sensitive topics are present, please be as respectful, well researched, and not detailed as possible to keep it CS friendly.

5. Disabilities and mutations that cause health issues should be noted on the page and researched to portray it respectfully.

6. Scars/Injuries should be shown as healed and treated completely with no disturbing injury present (including visible bone/muscle). Branding scars are not permitted.

7. Non Cat/Dog designs are limited only to milestones unless otherwise stated by the owner.

4. Collar that warns of being a nervous pet or that says ‘service animal’

8. Designer collar (human jewelry will not be accepted and if the reference provided cannot be determined as a collar it will have to be changed)

• These entries can be turned into MYO Customs if you receive permission from the artist who created them. If permission is gained, you must then have the appropriate MYO slot and have them approved by a Staff member in order for it to become an official Kalon.
  
  
• If chosen as a Guest Artist, you will be allowed to make a total of four official adopts [two standard, one common, and one uncommon] within a month period after being elected to the position. GAs may be voted on by staff for permanent hire after they have finished their GA trial.
  
  
• All designs must be made on oekaki, as we cannot accept off-oekaki artists for the species.
  
  
• You may not use the Kalon base to sell designs for the species. You may only offer your services to create a design for another user, but you cannot pre-make designs for profit. Designs purchased on other bases may be transferred into the species as Kalons with the appropriate MYO level so long as the original design also allows transfers.
