Welcome to FoGs Artist search! Here you may apply to become a aritst for FoGs but before you do please read through the rules!

Rules-
- Follow all Cs and FoG Rules
- you must make 3 entires to be consider as a artist
- Please list if youd like to be a guest artist
- Guest Artist can make 10 adopts in a month long period at which point they may choose to leave or become a Ghost or full time artist.
- Ghost Artist May make as few or as many adopt as they want, but may only make a artist custom once 2 have been posted.
- Full Time Artist must make 3 Free adopts a month and once this is met they may make a unlimited artists custom.
- Do not remove sigs and the fake sign
- you may make your own edits or use the premades or any body type
- you may not color in personal characters or use this as a editable (as it is not)
- you must list traits and chaw type for every entry
- You dont have to post entires under a Cover
- Artist entries may be claimed if the following guidelines are met
- The artist allows for their entry to be claimed

LIONHUNDS

Lionhunds are similar to a lion/dog mixture! They are big in stature though despite the dog attributes. These are very lazy creatures but dont let them fool you, they're very strong and can muster up the energy if need be. They tend to be lonley creatures except for when it comes to their pubby's (Offspring).

We are currently open to new positions!

You may choose to try out to be a breeding artist, a normal adopt artist, or adopt artist (you can be all three, too! you will be then called an all-round artist!).

A breeding artist will create breedings based off the parent designs- no need for genetics or anything, just creativity!
A normal adopt artist will create adopts only on the main base lines.
An adopt artist will create adopts on all base lines; the main and the mini! <3
And an all round artist can do all of the above! <3

Please include which position you are applying for
Once and if you are accepted, you will be able to make a Lionhund for yourself or keep one of your entries! <3
You do not need to keep your entries under a cover <3

You have to have an account older than 6 months with 10 or more posts. If you are going to be inactive, please let me (RoxyTBDW) know beforehand and how long you will be inactive for! You must agree to all of the rules. To enter, create a breeding between River and Jasper. Use a random number generator to decide amount of Goatlets! Read the nursery page for information on Goatlet Litters. Please list the traits of each Goatlet and grow at least one. For now, Goatlets will get 50% of their traits from each parent. Growths will be made on MYO thread.

vulpeculia [vul - peculia] are a very unique group of foxes who live according to the stars. each vul has a 'halo' which is attuned to harmless but abundant cosmic radiation, that helps them to track the position of constellations and navigate their way around the globe. as a result of this ability, vulpeculia are found in nearly every environment on earth. however, the thing that makes vul the most unique, is that they are born into different variations based on the position of the stars. there are three variations of vulpeculia born at various times of the year, and each of these bears a significant resemblance to a common species of fox. the red fox variant of vul is born between the months january - april, the arctic fox variant is born between may - august and the fenec fox variant is born between september - december. however, there have been some rare exceptions. vulpeculia are very friendly, and adopting them to help preserve this unique species is highly encouraged!

    Wind Reapers are a species of dragon that inhabit high ground, most
    commonly seen on mountain peaks. Their long, thin body allows them to
    maneuver steep slopes and jagged cliffs with ease. With their strong back
    legs, they can easily climb trees and make amazing leaps. Although they
    are unable to fly, their light body weight allows them to glide, with help
    from their high jumps and long tails. Their tails are very flexible, helping
    them climb and glide.
    Despite their appearance, most Reapers are relatively timid and shy. They
    are loners, however occasionally enjoy a friends company. They mate for
    life due to their lack of trust for others, and can live for up to 30 years.

    The community is based around rewarding owners for roleplaying, artwork,
    writing, and participating in the Cliff Racing event. Through these
    activities, you can earn various vouchers to for MYOs, Breeding and
    For traits to be added to your already existing Wind Reaper.

What do I do?

    1. Make a reaper without any limits! This could be incredible line edits, beautiful markings, whatever your heart desires! To encourage it, this "unlimited" artist entry can be approved to be an official Wind Reaper. Think of it as a custom to show me what you've got as an artist for this species.
    2. As much as I want to encourage your freedom with your entry, please consider the anatomy of a Wind Reaper. It should still resemble a Wind Reaper. In fact, please make sure that the base is used in your entry! You can, however, color-in your entry once it is complete to show a custom lined option to showcase your art style.
    3. If you wish for this reaper to be considered for your Artist MYO Custom, please mention that in the post. If you are selected as an artist, it will be approved in the process.
    4. Make sure that you mention what kind of artist you wish to be in your entry post. For Visuals Artists, include an okekai drawing of something like a Wind Reaper banner, or gift lines. For Event Artists, please make sure to include a custom lined sketch in your entry (can be hidden if you add me to the oekaki so I can look at it).
    5. Do not remove the badge until your Wind Reaper is approved! The badge can be moved as to not block your entry, but it has to be visible until you have received Artist Approval.
    6. If your entry is rejected, feel free to submit a new entry after the 30 day waiting period.

Artist Benefits
    As an Artist for the Wind Reaper Species, you get a few benefits that I want to go over! First, you get to claim special vouchers for completing work for the Wind Reaper Species. This helps you create MYOs and even gives you some extra vouchers you can trade or sell within the community. Next we have the monthly staff raffle that also awards vouchers! Finally, we have the Monthly MYO that gives you an easier way of getting those rare trait wind reaper MYOs! Artists that do special event Wind Reapers are given 100C$ for their trouble. Special Event Wind Reapers are requested by me, and they are usually on custom lines. They are reserved for milestones such as the 100th Wind Reaper, and the Holiday Wind Reaper we offer once a year.

Artist Vouchers

    Artists are allowed to claim vouchers for the work. That's right, you can get rewards for simply making adopts or visuals for the species! Isn't that crazy? Well, it's just my way of trying to reward you all for doing a great job. Let's get into what you can get and how you can get them.

MYO Vouchers
    > Create 10 Adopts (1 per 10 adopts)
    > Create 3 Gift Lines (1 per 3 lines)
    > Create 3 Visuals (1 per 3 visuals)

    As a Main or Event artist, you can claim 1 MYO per 10 adopts that you create for the community. As a Visuals Artist, you can claim 1 MYO Voucher for every 3 Visual Aids you create for our community (banners, Thread decoration, etc...) and any artist who creates at least 3 gift lines for the community to use can claim 1 MYO voucher as well. There is no limit to the number of times you can claim these vouchers, and remember that MYO Vouchers can be traded to other members of the community as well. This is just an added perk as an artist!

Trait Vouchers
    > Get a new trait approved (+1 Trait Voucher)
    > Gift Wind Reaper Artwork w/color to a member of the community (+1 Trait Voucher per artwork)
    > Win the monthly raffle (5 are raffled off)

Similiar in structure to a fallow deer, Fawnaes appear as lithe, slender deer with properties of the flora in their given environment. In contrast to its fallow counterpart, a Fawnae deer seems to vary in color and markings, differentiating themselves from the typical deer in the variety its flora-based genetics provide.

Artists must:
- have a good understanding of dog genetics. tools will be given to help with genos and phenotypes but pelase have a basic understanding of realistic coat colors and patterns and their genetics.
- produce terriers with realistic markings and coats.
- be posting dogs at least twice a month. artist customs do not count as your two dogs per month.
- be a part of the (upcoming) discord server <---- dont worry about that yet just keep it in mind.
- follow the breed standard.
- be well versed in the oekaki.

First time doing this, and wow, it's been a while since I've drawn anything, but I've been really wanting to try my hand at this.
Hope I captured the designs well. I was really inspired by the these two!
Also had a lot of fun doing the rolls for these kiddos! Idk why, but having rng tell me what I'm supposed to work with is so much fun :3

We are currently open to new applications!

:: Being an artist for Signature Ranch ::
We are currently accepting guest artists! A guest artist's time at Signature Ranch will last a 1 month span and they will be allowed to make free adoptables during this time. They will be allowed to make line edits, but must get them verified by valkyrie,, before posting the adoptable to the community. After their 1 month span, they will either be asked to stay permanently or will be allowed to re-apply for another guest artist position whenever they wish. Each guest artist will receive a Wishing Scroll at the end of their month, and every 1 month span you spend with us as a full artist will get you 1 MYO Key. The minimum requirement to stay a full time artist is 4 adopts a month. You may apply to both a guest artist and a nursery guest artist position, but will still only receive 1 MYO Key per month.

is there a minimum amount of entries we should have? if so, how many? any limits on species (example 1 horse, goose, cow ect)? and lastly, any form we need to fill in? <3

nope, there is no minimum! i would recommend maybe 2-3 though, so we can see your creativity and skill c: the species is up to the artist, we provided the 3 different animals to help anybody entering get a taste of what different lines would be like! and lastly no, there is no official form for the artist search, just link your past entries in any future ones.

any and all questions are welcome, i don't want there to be any confusion as i want people to be confident in their entries! <3

Something is happening to betta fish around the world! They are sprouting legs! With these new found features they are escaping their enclosures to find a new home. Many have theorized that faeries are responsible for this sudden phenomenon; some believing they sneak into homes and stores in the night to help their fishy friends. Now, Faettas have been spotted wandering from puddle to puddle in search of a better life.
Will you help one?

Welcome to the artist search.
Please read the rules before entering. Any that break these rules will be ignored.

Rules

- Do not make covers for your entries.
- Do not use this lineart unless you are entering.
- Only 3 entries max every 6 months. Any more will be ignored.
- One entry must have some kind of edit. Being able to draw and edit the lineart is required by artists.
- List the rarity and fin type, and any edits you do.
- Do not remove my signature.
- Do not remove the fake sign.
- These are not real faettas and can not be claimed by anyone except the artists if they choose to remake it on the main thread. (As a custom)
- Do not directly copy any betta fish you see online. Strong inspiration is okay just make it different.

If selected you will receive a pm from me offering a guest artist position.
After a month of being a guest artists I'll offer you a fulltime artist position.

- Guest artist can not make Faetta's for pets, C$, offsite currency, or real currency.
- After a month and if the guest artist has made at least 3 Faettas for adoption can they make a custom for themselves.

-Artist may make Faetta's for currency only after making 2 Faettas for non currency adoptions.
-Artist can make 1 custom Faetta at the end of the month, epic or under. You can opt to wait 2 months for a custom mythic Faetta.

Artist Rules
    » create at least 2-4 designs per month (can be any kind, nursery, adopt, custom, etc)
    (graphic artists need only be available as graphics are needed!)
    » designs should be genetically accurate, please run adopts by me before they're posted- you don't need to be well-versed in genetics and I'm glad to share my knowledge with you and write your genotypes for you!
    (if there are consistently no changes needed to your genotype, phenotype, or design, I will let you know that you no longer need to do this)
    » when making customs, litters, etc, please make a post on the archive if a player uses any items on their form
    » when making paid customs to avoid conflict, please always take payment up-front and hold onto your payment until the art is complete in case you need to refund it
    » you may make one custom a month as long as you have room for the character at your rank, this must be without edits unless you use items
    » you may request your custom from another artist if they are offering to do staff customs (please allow them up to a month to complete it), and may yourself offer to do staff customs but cannot charge for these (doing a custom for a custom is not considered "payment"!)
    (if you have a custom pending/in progress, please don't ask for another one until it's done)
    » if you're going to be absent for a while, please let me know
      Note,
      Staff are automatically entered into a monthly item raffle. Staff are also beholden to all the same rules as any other player, including regarding tasks and rank-ups.

    » delete the cover image
    » do not change the background (you can hide the background folder to use a white background while drawing, remember to unhide it before posting)
    » do not delete any of the backgrounds
    » delete any lineart folders that you don't use
    (but be sure you don't accidentally delete the "kitten" lines for the lineart folder you do use, incase you want a kitten reference later!)
    » make any edits you please as long as you maintain the pose
    (if you want to 100% custom line your entry/entries, I advise lowering one of the base linearts' opacity and using it as a guide for style and pose- but do feel free to stylize!)
    » accessories are allowed but I ask that you provide a version of the image without any accessories as well
    (accessories don't count as edits and don't require items, they should always be in their own folder and not a permanent part of the edited lineart)
    » entries should be genetically accurate, if you need help you can reach out to me here or on discord
    » if you're accepted you will have a 1 month guest term, you'll be allowed to choose one of your entries to become a free custom with any edits it has
    (you can of course also choose to later make any other entries into customs, however you'll need the appropriate items for any edits for them)

    » fill out the form on the Staff Applications thread and link it on your first entry

welcome to our artist search :) this is where you can apply to be an official artist for our species, which means that you will be able to make official adopts, help in planning events, make paid customs for other users, do nursery requests, and really whatever else you're comfortable with that might be needed! we can't wait to see what you'll make :D


RULES:

1. designs under here do not need to follow species lore. go crazy!
2. all designs made here are real and we encourage you to use them as your own character or rehome them! we do not want anybody's effort to go to waste.
3. if rehoming/adopting out a design you've made under the artist search, please keep in mind that it should be free. everything else (such as the type of competition, who gets the design, etc etc) is up to you!
4. you can make entries that are off-base if you wish but in order to be selected we require at least one entry on the base.
5. there is no limit to entries or a required number of entries, but please do not use this as a substitute to the MYO thread and only make entries here if you're sure you'd like to help us out with the species!
6. line edits are encouraged but not required. as long as your little guy still looks like an offpossum and not an entirely different creature, anything goes.
7. feel free to include seperate unrelated art and design examples :D
8. if uploading these guys anywhere, given that they're made on my base, please credit my toyhouse @redskyharbinger for said base^^
9. most importantly, have fun and feel free to ask any questions if you're curious abt something that isnt mentioned here!

★ Hello all! Welcome to our artist search! ★

I am looking to add a few more members to our artist team. I hope you have fun and
I can't wait to see what you create! Feel free to customize lines, or add your own ideas
to the seasonal traits! I just ask that you keep the seasonal traits with their respective
variant. For example, a Winter variant cannot have wings (Summer) or gills (Monsoon).
All of the layers and traits have been drawn in, with the exception of the spring traits,
and few winter traits. This sis because spring glow and overgrowth are customized to
each Veridian. And the same reason for the winter traits frostbitten and flurries.
If you have any questions, please post them here!

Rules
★ You may make cover to hold all of your entries if you would like.
★ Make up to FIVE entries - One of each variant (Spring, Summer, Monsoon, Autumn, Winter)
★ Put the Variant type in the title of each entry.
★ Feel free to add any seasonal traits, or keep them plain.
★ You may customize the lines and traits.

Here is where you can find the traits listed out. There is a mistake on this list! Luminescence is a Monsoon Trait, not spring!

Here is an Example for how to list your traits. This is one of my Veridians.

They are an Autumnal Variant. They have custom fur and a custom tuft thanks to the mohawk. They have bear ears, and short horns. And lastly, they have quills and little teeth!

If you are accepted as an artist:
I will message you directly to reach out with an offer!

Artist Search!

You can choose to make Adopts, Breedings, or both if you'd like!

You must have a user archive in our archive page (forum linked on the main page) and link it on all of your entries.

You must make at least 3 entries before being considered. Cannot be under a cover, previous entries should be linked on newer entries.

Keep the FAKE sign visible.

If you'd like to allow your entry to be claimed with a myo ticket by others, please state such.

You may not use these to create your own Dorkkitz.

Artists get 1x Shattered Star Shard upon hiring, and 1x common myo every 2 free adopts or 2 free breedings. Once two of a certain myo is obtained they can be traded for a myo of a higher rarity.
