Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.

Slow roll build-a-trotter! Winner will probably be chosen by RNG but I might just look at all the entries and pick my favorite (but probably RNG). This one will be a bit different, so read carefully:

I reserve the right to interpret any photo used however I want. You might link a photo of an appy thinking you're asking for the trotter to look like that appy, and I might just use the base coat instead!

Adult made by me, pup made by Unluckystar! Check out their art, it's gorgeous!

Meet 'The Watchers'. The smaller pups are called 'the Seekers' for their species. The pups are relatively small, around 3'5", whilst the adults can grow up to 7'5". The pups are sent out to look for newcomers in the liminal spaces. When they see you, the adults take over and "watch you" as you explore. Kinda like protectors! Harmless entities.
Naming them 1. Chasm [They/Them] and 2. Sylum [He/It.]. Each relative to how they got here in those forms!

I'm adding them to my liminal space group which is why their description is strange!

this took forever.. but i love how it turned out
anyways, another piece to my tfm headcanon, this, my friends is the ancient Healing Pool, a place where many pkmn and ppl would go due to the water's healing properties, but over the years many ppl and pkmn have forgotten abt it, only very few know abt it... Godzilla and the Mechagodzillas (who btw arent even enemies in my tfm headcanon, they are bffs), however, know about the existence of this place and are often found slumbering here, possibly to heal after battles and stuff... but sometimes Godzilla sometimes enters this place just to sleep (as shown in le art)
