i feel very disconnected from my art style.. and also just everything in general rn. lol

It's sad but I've been alone for too long
So I keep getting haircuts

It's my all time low
And I just can't wait
'Cause the quicker I'm there
Is the quicker I'll say

Bummerland, here I am
Better nix my summer plans
Bummerland, give a cheer
'Cause you're only going up from here
Bummerland, here I am
Better nix my summer plans
Bummerland, sorry dear
But you're only going up from here

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐱𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐬?

axioms are creatures surrounded by mystery, known for their affinity for people - especially kids.
they're tall, about 4'5 / 134 cm on average, but gentle and loving beings. also, they can't bite!
you see, the very first axiom was born just like all the others. a young girl came to a witch,
holding a bizarre looking stuffed toy. "please miss," she asked, "bring my friend to life."
the witch complied and, born from a spell, came forth one of these dog like creatures.
without a face, it felt disconnected from its owner. she made it a mask, so it could smile.
and hey, what do you know? next morning, every kid on the block wanted one!

the witch makes them in bulk now. maybe she'll have one to your liking?

Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness. With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.

Diatoms!!

I, me & meself from Human/Humanoid
by Vazchu @ Fri Apr 19, 2024 6:58 am [Reply]

OMG I've had this concept in my mind for I don't know how many years!? But the thing is, I don't do humans. At least not to enjoy it - because I find it freaking hard. Especially faces. My comfort zone is to this day demons if I ever shall do something somewhat close to human anatomy.

Anyhow, I decided to post this now; because I'm kind of happy with it and wanted it without background? (: Not to mention that I did enjoy this way more than I thought I would do!
Though I am going to keep working with this later and finish the background I started with. But I got carried away with faaaaar too many details and stuff and am much too tired now to keep working with it.

I may need to do some hand studies if I decide to keep practicing humans though.

Anatomy reference + myself in the mirror.
Maeko, Shinimi and Vaz are my sonas, fyi, hence the title.

The wild horses of Thalija are a friesian like breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. There isn't much known about them yet and we are still discovering more herds and horses to watch their behaviour and their life. Most of them are completely wild, but when we know a bit more about them, maybe we can manage to befriend some of the lonely Stallions and Mares that don't belong to a herd.

Only artists are permitted to post here.
custom rules !! wrote:1. Customs are periodically opened up by artists for a price (can be c$, usd, etc.). These horses can be whatever you'd like within the limits of the adopt rules.
2. Artists may open customs as often as they would like as long as they have provided the two adopts per month. If it seems like customs/auctions are the only thing artists are making, this rule may change.
3. Please do not harass the artists about how long your custom will take. They should let you know a general completion date and will be completed within that time period. We all have lives outside of cs <3
4. Artists will each have their own individual custom hub and are allowed to price their customs as they see fit. Keep in mind, singular custom prices must not exceed 500c$.
5. You may only order one custom per opening unless stated otherwise by the individual artists.
6. Please do not beg artists or guilt them into taking customs, nor order customs when their slots are closed. If this appears to be happening, you will be given a warning.
7. Chimerism may not be requested for customs. This only occurs within breedings.
8. Edits are allowed and accepted for customs. Keep in mind that large, inorganic edits are not permitted such as wings, limbs/tails from other animals, etc. Items such as halters, capes, flowers, necklaces, etc. are accepted and allowed. Mane and tail edits are also allowed, as well as roman noses and dished faces. Any major line alterations are not permitted (thinning, dwarfism, etc.) If you are unsure what is allowed, please just send me a message before ordering. <3
9. Do not post your form here, but please send it directly to the artist via dms or discord.

auction rules!! wrote:1. Auctions are adopts that artists are selling for a price (c$, usd, pets, etc.) They will never be free to buy. Those will be on the main adopt page. Auction horses typically have rare-limited genes as well as edits, accessories, etc.
2. There will always be a starting bid, minimum increase in bid, and an auto-buy. The starting bid is the lowest an artist would take for said adopt. The minimum increase is how much higher the next person needs to bid. Lastly, the auto-buy can be bought by any user and will typically be a high price. If you use the auto-buy, the auction ends and the adopt is now yours.
3. Artists may set their own individual prices based on how much effort they put into the adopt and what they are looking for. Sole usd auctions are only allowed every other auction (ie. first auction is for cs, second one is usd only, etc.). Artists are also only allowed four auctions a month if they have met the required two adopts per month.
4. Auction horses are only allowed two limited genes at one time, and unlimited rare and below genes. This is to make sure that the limited genes stay limited.
5. If the auction is purchased with anything other than pets or c$, the discussion must be taken offsite as per CS rules.
6. The artists are allowed to cancel the auction at any time for any reason if the auto-buy has not been used yet. If this happens often, I will give a warning. This is to ensure users are not bidding and constantly finding out that the horse is no longer up for adoption.
7. The same goes for users bidding on an auction. You are allowed to retract your bid before the posted end date, but not after. In rare circumstances, this may be accepted.
8. If there are any problems/disputes, please contact me here or on discord (#0479paradise,) for assistance.

Light Collector #234 - Open from Adopts 2: Pets, based on this drawing by gecko
by gecko @ Fri Apr 19, 2024 5:30 am [Reply]

Light Collectors (LC) are tiny flying creatures who absorb energy from lightbulbs through special glands on their paw pads. The brighter a Light Collector's horn and tail glow, the healthier and more full of energy that LC is. LC's favorite light to absorb usually is any light the same color as their own glow. While this energy is what a LC needs in order to survive, they can also enjoy other foods such as fruits, veggies, and even candies!

To try out for this Collector, share a picture or Gif of your favorite migratory bird!

guidelines !! wrote:- Personal breedings are allowed, but must be rolled by another artist. This breeding does not need to be posted on this thread, just let me know beforehand. <3 You may create your own breeding or ask another artist to. As long as you have fulfilled the two adopts per month, you may do as many personal breedings as you wish (within reason).

- Edits are up to you if you want to pass them or not. If anyone gives you a hard time about not passing the edits, let me know and i will give them a warning. As stated above, manes/tails/small line edits/etc. are allowed to pass. Dyes, halters, and other accessories are not allowed to pass.

- Please title all breedings as #B001-etc.

- Only accept as many breedings as you are capable of. I know we all love doing breedings, but just make sure you have the time to complete all of them within a reasonable time. <3

- Please use the following when rolling for any breeding:
Twins: Must roll a number between 1-10. If you get twins, then roll for chimeric.
Chimerism: Must roll a number between 1-5.
Somatic Mutation: Must roll a number between 1-15- this doubles if both parents have the mutation.
Heterochromia: Must roll a number between 1-20- this doubles if both parents have heterochromia.

Only use these rates when rolling genes that do not have a set genome (pangare, brindle, etc.)
Common genes: Must roll a number between 1-75.
Uncommon genes: Must roll a number between 1-50.
Rare genes: Must roll a number between 1-25.
Limited genes: Must roll a number between 1-10.
