Clear Skies

I'm very proud of this, best Oekaki I've done so far ^^
I might go back and edit the clouds, they look sorta messy, and the sun seems too much of a perfect circle, might fix that. And I can't help but feel that the birds are blobbish >.<
But anyways, I'm happy with it, so please Comment and Criticize! ^^

I would mix very light colors of the backround. NOT DARK blue but very light ones. i would also add rays of the sun. Over all your picture is good. it goes with the title.

Got the idea for this one a while ago... it took me some time to finish it. =)
The lake/pond thing, (land? poke?), didn't turn out exactly to plan, but I don't think it's awful. ^^
As usual, 'tis done with a laptop touchpad, and no references used.

I was atempting to draw fur, but then I thought, this would make a way better picture as something else then fur. :\
So... tada.
I think it needs something more, so I added clouds, but on a different layer. Maybe a rabbit or something?

It was a cord of maple, cut and split
And piled--and measured, four by four by eight.
And not another like it I could see.
No runner tracks in this year's snow looped near it.
And it was older sure than this year's cutting,
Or even last year's or the year's before.
The wood was grey and the bark warping off it
And the pile somewhat sunken. Clematis
Had wound strings round and round it like a bundle.
What held it though on one side was a tree
Still growing, and on one a stake and prop,
These latter about about to fall.

This is the second in a series of drawings based on some of Robert Frost's poems that I am studying for school. The timer is no correct, I spent a lot of time just reading another page on the internet while leaving the drawing open. It's probably a few hours off. This one was harder than the Birches one, and it probably isn't very good compared to the other. I got impatient and just finished the background as fast as possible. :P Well, I hope you like it.

1st drawing for this year and to be said I tried to draw a mountain but it sucks a bit, the white dots are stars and the small yellow ones are ment to be a few firefly.
