Perfect is Very Boring

"Perfect is very boring, and if you happen to have a different look, that's a celebration of human nature, I think. If we were all symmetrical and perfect, life would be very dull."

So I decided to draw one of my favorite actresses and biggest girl crush, Natalie Dormer. This is my first time trying to draw a person realisticly and I think it turned out alright. Some parts of it are a bit of a mess (like the hair), but I am still pleased with it.

somebody thinks shes had enough time on her husktop

they try to take it away, but ends up dragging her along with it, as she wont give it up, she was having fun bothering eridan too.

yes the mouse of her husktop is in her tail, and her hands are frozen down to her husktop

the person trying to take away her husktop is sollux ovo. i regret nothing

so it's ahri and leona being all dressed upish for halloween????? leona is a sun queen and ahri just basically threw on some clothes and used some (a lot??????/) of hair dye for her tails and parts of her hair pfff
also the background is so bad oh my god i was in such a hurry to finish please
also i think they're having like a staring contest or something

background gnars and lulus are good too
even if lulu is wearing dif stuff

i actually hate the background
p.s. ahri and leona are a couple and they're 100% cute as heck together

Hi there! so this shall be my entry for this contest....
It's only the first sketch... will have to fix some bugs, define lines and add accessories and a dress..... but I have to go right now...

EDIT 2: still a WIP, some accessories need refinement, some will be added and the colour sheme is not fixed yet...
what do you think about the hair colour?
you can choose between: blond, red, dip dye hot pink and dip dye rainbow (now displayed to give you an imagination of what I mean ^^)

so, depending on your art style and whether realistic proportions would actually apply, this may or may not be relevant to this sketch...but with the assumption that you're going for something more realistic I'm gonna give you a little critiquing on something important.

so everything about this that you've solidified, i.e. the face/hair, are totally fine. I see you're going for a kind of style here. the only problem I have is with the red sketch you've put in. were she an actual person, she wouldn't be able to hold her head up. it would be too heavy. I would highly suggest looking up references for human anatomy/posing because humans are super confusing to draw properly.
specifically I can tell you that, at the angle drawn here, her neck is a teeny bit too thick for the chest/shoulders you've laid out. if you'd like, I can do a quick redline to show you how the proportions should be because I honestly couldn't find a pose to match this one that I could reference you to X3

the red lines are still sketches to roughly give an imagination where a body part could be.... the neck isn't drawn yet (only the ventral part) and the shoulders will move to another place at some point...
and the pose was meant to be a bit awkward like a shrug or an insecure girls shrunk or something...
but as I said the red lines are raw lines and not ready yet =)

I also think the eyes aren't on their proper place yet... whart do you think?

my dog zuess is a black lab and loves food, i felt the need to draw this because this always happens!! i could be eating CEMENT and he would want some. the worst part is, he will sit in front of you so you cant go anywhere and stare at your soul. omg my dad eggs him on too, when my dad gets up he will give zuess part of his toast in the morning and at lunch guess who gets part of that? he already gets three bowls of food!!! he is annoying and fat but i love him, hes like a little brother to me.( or would he be older? hmmmm...)

ps. sorry i was to lazy to color it in, hey one thing me and zuess have in common!! :)

But I think the nibs fit most Bamboo tablets....
