Male Bust Practice

I've decided that it's high time I started drawing women and men instead of just women, and I thought the best place to start was busts/head shots.
I shamelessly admit that I'm rather pleased with this; I think he turned out rather well (I regret nothing ✿◕ ◡◕).
I'll add color/shading soon.

My second drawing on Oekaki! Or any digital art in fact ever. I'm still struggling with shading and highlights (as you can probably see from my failed attempt :D). Not sure where I was going with the background neither. But I think this is somewhat an upgrade from my first attempt.
The timer is a lie, I get distracted so easily you have no idea...

Please criticise! :D
and I would love some tips on highlighting and shading if you'd like to ^-^

All in all I'm proud and I think I've got a click on what my art style is *yay!*

Hm I need to give her a name, maybe Tammy? But I swear I over use that name :3

Ah, well, I thought it's botu time I get into the spirit of Halloween! :D While I've never celebrated Halloween or trick or treated due to the beliefs of my parents (and now I'm past the age that's appropriate for trick or treating), I still like the holiday a lot c: Hopefully some day soon I'll be able to get into the festivities of it ^^
But it appears Az already has, huh? Goin' all out with a bit of stage makeup and fake stitches, haha

Inspired by the Vocaloid song "Little Traveler". (youtube - cover by clear)

I took the song to be about someone who is searching for their loved one, a person who they can't find. So he searches the universe, and the sky, and after being unable to find that person, realizes that even though they've been separated, he still can wish the best for them...

This is the most important scene in the entirety of Prince's backstory.
The. Most. Important.
Here's a story about it, it's in Snowflake's point of view.

I was getting off of the train to Acresville, a quaint town with quite a colorful history.
My name is Snowflake Yun, of the Yun Clan.
I was going to retrieve my luggage, when I saw a boy at around nineteen knelt down near a bench. He looked heavily scratched, and the wounds were fresh. Everyone seemed to be skirting him. I came up to him, ignoring the mix of bewildered, disapproving, and curious faces. He was crying, blood dripping from his arms.
"Are you okay, kid?" I asked. He looked up, and I saw him in more detail. He had one yellow eye, and the other one was closed tightly. His hair was untidy and maroon, he had wolf ears, (which is not uncommon), a large burn mark on his shirt, and an assortment of scars on his arms. After looking me over, as if to make the best strategy, he looked away and onto the floor.
Determined, I pulled him up. "Are you okay?" I asked. "You-you're not running..?" he replied. "Why would I?" Is he right in the head? I thought. "Nobody's ever been nice to me for a long time.. So I'm not nice to them!" he said in what would be a menacing tone, if he was not still fighting off tears.
"Here, let me help you with those wounds.." I said, and put my hand under his head. I'll give you a little inside trivia on me, the Yun clan has powerful magical abilities. The wounds on his face shrank away, as if being time reversed. "How did you...?" he asked, but I did not answer. "You really shouldn't talk to me.. I'm-I'm a bad guy.. A.. A criminal.. Or I was." he said, managing not to cry, but still very shakily.
"You don't look so bad.." I said, but in response he just walked away, back slouched, people still skirting away from him.
Could some pathetic little thing like that really be so bad?
I wouldn't have thought so, until the next time we met.

Ello my dears, halloweens coming up and I always seem to miss many halloween pets. Therefore, I too am opening a little shop c;
I draw many things, I have many art styles.
I prefer drawing with my Auto sketchbook app. An example drawn from there is here.

The picture (may) not be transparent, and it (may) not be blended on this app, however my drawings will turn out more accurate and end up looking better.

Soooo.... I really, really want a ninja costume. Something I can sew myself. Buuuut surprise surprise, I have no money for fabric. (Spent the money I recently got buying some antique tables I'm going to refinish- They have blue glass on top!) So I'll be recycling an old costume. Still though, there are days when I want to dress up like a ninja with two plastic blades, and roam the house.

Anyway, this is just my practice in jumping back into the digital art world. Have to draw up t-shirt designs on photoshop, so I figured I'd better practice. I kind of like it. ^_^ I love drawing myself (It's like another doorway into the imagination!) and I love blues and purples, not to mention I love drawing night skies. Seriously, I just love this, and it's the crappiest doodle ever. X3
