Me and my friend came up with this a while ago, but I guess I just left it in my gallery unfinished. I thought I could make it look better then it was so I polished it off. I used the characters New Zealand, Australia + Wy, Sealand, Latvia and Seborga, but I guess the silhouettes kinda failed.. XC

Playing Link's Awakening lately, I've become incredibly swept away by the touching story and the bittersweet ending it has to offer. Certainly, it's easily one of my favorite Zelda games, easily trumping the DS games, Four Swords, Skyward Sword, and the first and second Zelda games. It's certainly not my absolute favorite, but heck, its a glorious GameBoy adventure that is worth your time and my time.

I've grown to like the Link x Marin couple and now its my main Zelda shipping. I was playing and when I came to this little scene with Link and Marin by the seashore, I found it to be absolutely charming and I had to draw it.

If you've never played Link's Awakening, don't own a GameBoy, or heck, don't wanna spend your time playing the entire game just to understand what I'm talking about? Don't worry, theres a published manga for it that you can find around the internet if you look for it. The art style for it is old and some things are inaccurate story and anatomy-wise, but for the most part its well written and the author used their creative license right and did a very good job on it. I recommend checking it out, cause I've read it and its as great as the game.
