whenever i go to the tidepool beach near my house, i spend hours looking for nudibranchs. I don't even plan to do it most days; i just end up on the shoreline staring at tidepools. on days with super low tides, i find monterey sea lemons.

This is an awesome illustration! I love the little sea lemon in the thought bubble and the reflection of the rocks in the pool. Living near a tidepool beach sounds great tbh, whenever i go to a beach I always try to look for sea life on the shore rather than like.... swimming

the Worst part of being ace is knowing that many people will become attached to attractive characters more easily but not understanding How to replicate that

i agree, this is already an attractive character?

a big tip when it comes to drawing good-looking characters is nailing the proportions. humans are naturally attracted to perfect proportions after all.
my personal preference is longer eyelashes and thinner noses (which you nailed here) but note that a lot of different cultures have different beauty preferences?
western cultures prefer more masculine males (broad eyebrows, smaller eyes and strong jawlines/cheekbones) and east-asian cultures prefer more feminine males (thin eyes and nose, more delicate features)

haha! Yeah, I have 'trendy' clear plastic glasses ( you can buy them really cheap here )

also everybody says my hair is the same colour as my eyes, even though my eyes are greenish brown!

It'ssssssssssssssss my Zuna girl! But in modern clothes! ^-^ EXCITINGGGGGGGG, kind of. XD

A couple of days ago, I was in the mood to draw Zuna since she's easy for me to draw and just super fun but I didn't want to draw another headshot of her even though I was in a lazy mood. My sister had suggested I should draw her in modern clothes and I DECIDED TO TRY MY HAND AT A MORE FULL LENGTH HUMAN. My anatomy needs some work but I'm getting decently better at hands, I think? I had to look up a reference for the hand on her hip but other then that, I CAME UP WITH THE POSE! *flies back in chair and flails arms around happily* That's probably why the anatomy is bad but oh well, I'm proud of myself. XD

I also looked up an outfit reference because I needed some kind of fun shirt and pants to draw. I changed the colors of the clothes though, I was inspired by fashions in Korea. (Specifically SHINee's Key and Taemin.) I love how they are going back to older fashion styles, like 1980-2000 kind of styles. I used to not like it but now, I WISH STYLES IN CANADA AND AMERICA WOULD GO BACK TO THAT. (well. minus the croptops. Only a few guys can pull off croptops, to be completely honest.)

Anyway, I had fun drawing this and going crazy with the colors. I wanted Zuna to still look like Zuna so I pretty much left her bangs alone. XD I hope it still looks like her? (Haha, added a blue earring to her right ear cuz WHY NOT. *winks*)

The timer is off by a lot (no idea how much), I used a mouse to draw this, and please do not steal or repost this! Zuna is my character so don't steal her either!

Honestly the anatomy is pretty decent considering you didn't use a reference for most of it-- I'm absolutely useless without a reference XD This is so cute though, and I love her happy pose!

Recently, I've been listening to some SHINee songs and man, Minho is really cute and sweet and sorta naive, from what I've seen. <3 His face is just... so likable? His eyes have a lot of depthhhh. ;w; That's why they were so hard to draw. And the fact that his eyes are really uniquely shaped. <3

I really like how this turned out, though. It could have been better but eh, I had fun even though it took me ages. ^-^ I'm still proud of it. c: (Gosh, you know when I say that, I don't say it in a stuck-up way? Yes? Cuz I never wanna brag and be dumb like thattttt. :c)

The timer is slightly off, I used a mouse to draw this, and please do not steal or repost this! And this the picture I used for a reference!

I think the eyes look great! Brown eyes can be really tough to draw sometimes, but you did a pretty good job. I also love the sweater, it looks so cute <3

Man, I feel like every time I finish art, I just sit there, staring at my empty description box, and feel very exhausted like I had an art workout. XDD But drawing is fun! I just throw my whole self into my drawing, especially when I'm shading. *shrugs* I DUNNO WHAT I'M SAYING. I'm kinda tired right now so I blame thatttttttt.

One of my favorite EXO music videos and eras is The Power of Music and GOSH, the Power music video makes me giddy every time I watch it. I just love the designs of everyone's outfits, the setting and colors, the MUSICCCCCCCCC, the acting skills... Everything! And Chanyeol looks SOOO good with blue hair and multicolored eyes. Dangggggg, it's too much cuteness for me. XD I've never drawn any of the members from Power but now I want to draw them all, eventually. (I have a small commish to do for a friend and finish a commish my bro asked me to do MONTHS ago anddddd I have a small art challenge that I'm planning on doing soon ish. *sweats and wipes brow* I should work on those projects, ahhh! >.<)

Anyway, I love how this turned out. <3 I have no clue what I was doing half the time but it all worked out!

The timer is offffffffffffffffff by 15-20 minutes, I used a mouse, and please don't steal or repost this!

hot dang this is super nice!! I love this distinct style!! The pastel (not sure if that’s the right word and I’m referring to the stroke style rather than color scheme) style is very very nice!! I’d say this is one of my favorite Oekaki pieces I’ve seen to date!
