im not sure its very good, but i like how it turned out.

i have a lot of splatoon characters but like not of them have a colored ref and if they do its a traditional sketch from a while ago and frankly i cringe at my old art.

they all need nice updated references but i' still really unhappy with how i draw humans/humanoids so none of them have been done
humans are next on my list to practic i swear. maybe horses will come first. maybe, maybe not. either way these are the next two things i want to improve at.

anywho these two are part of a new squad of splatoon characters i'm making. the kiddo yelling that he's not bad is actually genuinely terrible at ranked and turf but hes the younger brother of the other inkling i've drawn here who's actually good at playing, so he'll allowed to take part in the squads training. he probably mains the aerospray and thinks tufing the walls gives him points. when he grows up he'll likely become a high skill player like his brother who will then l make you terrified of the aerospray.

for now though he'll just be using the 'they must be a hacker' excuse to justify why he does badly in regular matches. he'll eventually face the fact that he isn't very good and then will start improving, but until then just let him be an adorable noob.
