Raptor (octoling), Agaricus (mushroom boi) and Amanita (birb)

im not too sure what to think of using this style for drawing people, i really don't like how Agaricus turned out in this piece. I really need to figure out a way of drawing people in a way that i don't completely hate so i can actually draw my human & humanoid characters.

so many of my inklings and octolings haven't had their designs updated from 2015-2016 and are stuck as uncolored sketches with some of them having backstories and stuff i want to rewrite when i redesign them. anyway i can't update those designs righy now as they're almost all in sketchbooks and folders at home except a few which are in a sketchbook i brought on holiday because half the pages are still blank and why bother buying a new one if there's still usable paper because i originally lost the sketchbook but i found it recently.
