I want to say that I'm happily using Chicken Smoothie as a ride down memory lane. I used to use Oekaki back in the day! (2003 - 2013)

I'll glance over the rules now. I'm just excited to be using this format for drawing again; I've missed oekaki for years!

I was in a sort of night slump where I needed to vent by drawing the person I was crying about earlier in a better mood then I'm in. It actually worked, I'm feeling better. I went through my YouTube history and picked lots of sad songs that made me cry harder and slowly have made my way to songs that make me feel more melancholy or bittersweet.

I was really inspired by my sister and her wonderful art. Doing a sketchy drawing was really fun and comforting. <3

If ya don't mind, I'm gonna unload some thoughts of mine, you can skip past it if you want.

I've been doing lots of thinking lately about Jonghyun. I've always worried that drawing him would be disrespectful in some way... like, my art could never ever wrap up all of his beautiful personality and heart and soul. Like people would misunderstand me. Like I was guilty for feeling tired of writing sad things in all my descriptions for art of him.
But then I saw people talk about him... normally.
Sure, there's heartache packed in each thing said about him. Everyone misses him. I miss him.
But that doesn't mean I can't draw him. That doesn't mean I can't appreciate how incredibly artistically pleasing he was as whole person. That doesn't mean I have to cry every time I draw him.
I can draw him. I will draw him. Through my art, I will appreciate the wonderful life he lived.

The timer is sadly accurate, I used a mouse, and please don't steal or repost this sketch. This was my precious reference picture. I'll never be able to wrap up that gorgeous and happy smile in my art. It's too perfect. <3

I had so much fun with last nights sketchy doodle thing, I decided to draw Sehun in the same way. C:, Turns out, being messy is a LOT of fun. I thought I was such a perfectionist that I would hate being messy but watching my sister draw has converted me, haha! XD

It doesn't look like Sehun. But I don't really care. XD It's just... Sehun's cousin. Or Sehun had a whole face surgery. Or my sister just came by and told me it looked like Sehun so I don't know. XD

Yeah, if you can't tell, my mood has totally turned around since yesterday and I'm very dorky right now so bear with me. XD

I wanted to draw another person in a sketchy style but didn't know which EXO member to do, my friend suggested Sehun. (She thinks he's the best looking in EXO. XD He'd be so honored. :'3 I hardly ever draw the maknae, in fact, I was actually thinking about drawing Baekhyun but uhhh... y'all know I draw him constantly... heh. XD

ANYWAY, I'm done now. The timer is mostly accurate, I used a mouse, and please don't steal or repost this! My ref pic!

I need to learn how to do quick sketches without spending an hour or more on a digital picture, h e h
My only reason for drawing this was to figure out how I wanted to color them in, which took probably around 20 minutes. I only knew how long it was taking me because I managed to make it through a one-hour video and two twenty minute videos :')
Anyway, yeah, OCs. You might recognize one of them from this (if you've seen it, anyway), and that's because she is in fact the same person. Bug. The same bug. I just changed her design to something that I felt looked better, and that fit the area/story better.

I subconsciously made Setara left-handed, so that's cool.
Rain is still supposed to be me, but Setara isn't based on anyone I know. And the story I came up with for them also isn't based on anything in life, which makes it contrast with other things, but whatever. The story is extremely long, though, so I'll not put it in this post unless anyone wants me to :)
The story from Rain's perspective is 351 words, and the story from Setara's perspective is 990 words :')))
I wrote Rain's first, to get a feel for what was going on in her life, I guess. Once I had the groundwork established I went a little crazy with Setara's side of it, ALTHOUGH, that was mostly because I was intrigued by trying to figure out how it would look and feel to slowly be consumed by the Infection. 663 words of Setara's story are detailing what happened to her, what was going on in her mind, how she felt.

I need an anime battle between Steve and Jonsey where Steve wins because i truly believe Fortnite is humanity's worst creation and i've legit been playing Minecraft for the last 6 years and i never jumped to Fortnite (played it sometimes but i hate it and it's up there with Sonic and my Secret Rings as my least favorite video game of all time)
