I think I was going to do something else but drew a black hole instead. well not an actual black hole because it doesn't suck up everything.

weird unreferenced warm up lol. this started off as a random werewolf but i *love* teen titans so it became beast boy lol. it doesn't totally look like him bc its all from memory otl

his eyes r supposed to be reflective like an animal butttt idk if it comes across like that rip

I'm trying to learn to draw humans, so I drew Seraphina from UnOrdinary. (I love her so much- who am I kidding I love all the characters from that series XD)

On a side note, my birthday is tomorrow. That's why it says 'happy birthday' in the background.

Since I finished Stranger Things 3 on Thursday (I wanted to make it last so I watched one episode every Thursday, XD), I'm obviously kinda back into Stranger-Things-fangirl-mode, so in honor of the wonderful show and third season, here's a Hopper! He's my all-time favorite character, so naturally I had to draw him. c:
I really want to go on about him in Season 3 and stuff, but uh, despite it being August, that's still spoilers, so I'll keep my mouth shut. XD

Dang though, this took me QUITE a while! That was because I was really focusing on details, though, XD. I've never been great - or uh, even good tbh - at drawing him in my style, and I wanted to change that with some practice... and then it turned into something I really did want to make look really good, XD! I'm rather proud of how it turned out c:
I also would've done something with the background, but I mean, this is a shot of the shoulders-up, and I felt it'd look a little strange just... floating there on a colorful background? Idk, I just preferred to leave it white so the art popped more!
Oh, and the centering - or lack of it - bothers me slightly too, but uh, by the time I noticed I was like, halfway through, and trust me, moving all those layers and then making them match up again would've been... something. XD

I wanted to draw today, but wasn't sure what to make, until I figured out via Instagram that it's Stranger Things actor Gaten Matarazzo's birthday! So I thought drawing him would be a cool way to honor his birthday! c:

Since I first started watching Stranger Things behind-the-scenes, interview, and tour stuff, I've definitely grown to like Gaten from what I've seen of him! He just generally seems really nice to others, pretty chill, honest, and funny - and of course talented! I actually have a bit in common with him as well apparently (including September birthdays that are a few days apart - mine is the 12th!), so that's cool! Idk, he just seems like a pretty cool guy to be around - I'd honestly like to just sit down and talk with him for a while or something, idk, XD.
Gaten's kinda hard to draw though, man, XD. He's got a really unique smile, and it's hard to capture in a style like mine without making it look strange, and uh... old? XD! I think it turned out alright though! c:

Well, I actually don't have much to say this time tbh! I'll be posting this on my Instagram, but that's not really info I need to type here, XD.
I used this photo as a reference, the timer is pretty much correct, and uh... the colors used on the words and stars are colors from two of Dustin's outfits in Stranger Things 3, XD!

I normally use a chibi style for these birthday drawings, but I wanted to go with (basically) my normal style for people here! I did use a base (fullbody art is hard when you start, lemmie tell you ;-;), and it was kinda chibi-ish, but idk, I changed the head shape and what-not. Idk why this info matters, but XD
I'm actually really proud of this? Like, wow, just last year my art style was closer to this?! I mean, I still use that chibi style sometimes, and I do still kinda like that art, but idk man, I feel like I've really improved? That's a really good feeling, wow <3
But anywho, ENOUGH ABOUT MY DRAWING PROCESS. XDD
