Just a rough concept or experiment for Specter, a character I've designed in the last week. Also a nice chance to practice anatomy. Specter is able to shapeshift and perform other magic. In this form he's actually completely black with a misty or sort of smoke-like vapor flowing from his body and you can only see his eyes and markings clearly. He also has a long feathered tail, which I forgot to add and his wings are much larger. I want to make a proper image of him like that in Photoshop though where I have a bit more control over the colours and everything lol

I hope the anatomy isn't too much for the forums, but if it is then mods please take it down, I'd like to make sure I'd stay within the rules of what is allowed.

Any advice or critique is appreciated

nothing 'ancient' about it.. since it was drawn on a computer in 2011 !

Reason why I'm posting as a W.I.P, is because I'm looking for tips and comments on how I'm doing and how to make it better.

What I did: I tried something a little different, I drew like I do on paper, only sketch-like. I think that it's looking a lot better, I am also new to my tablet! I drew this all as 100%, so it's a bit iffy, but it's just a sketch. I would have finished, but I think I'm going to bed now. ^^;

Need to fix: Skirt needs to flow to the left more, thin out the leg, add a thigh-high socks/pantyhose, lengthen the bangs on the left side more, push the right hip out more. ((All based on the viewer's left and right)

Please reply and criticize what you think should be changed before I finish this tomorrow, this is why I posted in Intermediate :>
