I walk a lonely road The only one that I have ever known Don't know where it goes But its only me and I walk alone Usually, I try to keep a positive outlook on things, but sometimes, the dark cloud catches up. Like today, I was talking to my friend about this dude I like, and she kept telling me to go and talk to him and get his number and ask him out, and I totally went off on a rant with her for no reason. For four whole years, in intermediate school, I had glasses and braces and looked like a total dork. Boys would always make fun of me, calling me a nerd, and a loser, and ugly betty and so forth. I didn't like being made fun of, so I just didn't really talk to them, for fear that something I said would be twisted into another insult. Now, I'm one year away from high school, and I ditched the glasses and braces, so now I actually look PRETTY for once in my life. Boys actually seem to like me now. But I don't know how to talk to them after four years of trying to avoid them. D*mn! Why does being a teenager have to SUCK so much?! Anyway, sorry for randomly going on a rant with YOU guys! I feel this drawing, and these lyrics, sum up what I'm feeling right now. And it's weird. I kinda feel better now that I've drawn this. I guess Chicken Smoothies really are good for the teenagers soul...

NoLongerOnCS @ Sat Jan 07, 2012 12:37 pm hmmm lol i has a tip, sometimes words are hard to read so when u write a comic make the panels easy to follow and type the words in your post and make sure u always post links to the other pages. look for my comic 'imprisoned' for an example (im guilty of not typing words)) |
