She is pregnant, yes. And it's awkward because how their age translates ot ours, she's only like 18 in human years ":D

Its normal within the Onega culture for a female Onega to have offspring at this age; though you don't exactly have to. It's not like you would be frowned upon if you didn't have Onii at this age, there would just be concerns about how your offspring would be later on and its believed that if you wait too long, your Onii will be Sin-Born or born without wings -- though it's never actually been proven because the Onega are so religious and stick to traditions.

Aside from that, the design was in inspiration of a panda, as this is the spirit-animal of this Onega in which it was reincarnated into; she is also a Forest Guardian Onega (not literally a guardian unless you'd like her to be, that is up to you), therefore her orbs are a pale-ish green c: She wears them on a little belt strap as opposed to on a necklace ^^

Gather 'round, it's depressing story time:

"It's getting worse," Will whispered in a barely audible voice. It shook with emotion as he let his eyes fall from Jinx's gaze. He released an unstable breath and blew softly. "I-I... I don't know how much longer I can take this..."

Jinx sat still as a stone across from the other boy. His anger and hatred for Will's father was coursing through his veins. He also hated the bullies at school who had recently been tearing Will apart, mentally and now physically. Will's toes and knuckles were purple and blue from the numerous times they had been stepped on that morning. Jinx had gone right up to the first bully to confront him about stepping on Will's hand, but the large boy just taunted him and laughed him off.

"Jinx." Will's voice was weak and helpless. He had been the one who had been suffering the most in their unofficial relationship. Jinx got his fair share of bullying, but he fought back harder than Will did. Will would disappear after anyone said anything hurtful to him and Jinx would spit an equally rude retort back at the sender. Will also had his un-approving dad to deal with. His father was anything but supportive and was exceptionally mean to his emotionally weak son.

"Yes?" Jinx prompted after being snapped back into the current moment by Will's voice.

Will couldn't bring himself to speak it aloud, but they both knew what he was going to say.

Jinx inhaled sharply and snapped his eyes back up from his tightly crossed arms. Will's now glistening eyes were staring right back at him. Will's cheeks were flushed red and shimmered with fallen tears. Although he could only see out of his right eye, his cataract-filled left eye still held the same amount of sorrow. They held eye contact for several long seconds before Will collapsed into Jinx's arms. His breathing was painful to listen to for Jinx.

The two teens embraced each other in the heavy silence. The only sounds in the room were Will's awful breathing patterns. Jinx was wildly taken aback by Will's last comment, but he knew he had to say something. After a few minutes, Jinx quietly cleared his throat.

"You are the strongest person I have ever met, Will. I can't believe how much you've taken on your part..." Jinx's voice trailed off and died away.

"Me? Strong? Jinx, I've never once stood up to anyone; the guys at school, m-my dad," he shuddered after mentioning the most terrible person in his life so far. "I'm the weak link here."

"No, you're not," Jinx said softly but firmly. "After every single time someone brings you down, you get right back up. I don't know how you couldn't have considered... that before now."

Silence again. Neither of the two moved. They just sat, breathing each others' air. Will's breathing still shook slightly and now Jinx's was starting to follow the same pattern.

"Will?"

"Y-yeah?"

"Stay strong... please... for me..."

I love my own ship X3 I don't normally type stories for my drawings, but I felt that this one definitely needed one. I think it fills up the empty knowledge of their back story pretty well. Now I kinda need to go color my late comic page :S
