Knowing your shadow
This may be a somewhat a strange life advice to some. But for you whom believe in energies and things not of this realm, and your loved ones whom have passed. It might make sense.
Think both once and twice, perhaps even thrice; before getting to know your shadow, dear friends. You just might end up regretting it for years to come if you're not thoughtful enough about it. I'm never getting to know mine again. Now I must excuse myself to close my chakras and come to realize I will never be able to fullfil the project I've intended to make the way I had envisioned it. Which is sad. It won't let me. This timer is the greatest liar you ever will meet as well, I've reused one of the few remaining old canvases among my old canvases not linked to another drawing here. The curious person can see in [ this blogpost ] the beginning of a picture for the tryout of a Kiamara that once was here for many a years. The end. |

tried to imagine what would come out if i fused two of my ocs together. after much consideration i think it would be something like this. struggled with the outfit for 900 years until i gave up and did This so he could be decent for posting but it will go back to the clip drawing board later...... though i think his wardrobe will ultimately turn out very gal and fruits magazine inspired |

i think next year i'm gonna move this tradition off-oekaki :'] i wish i could be more proud of this but the canvas size is just soo small!! and it takes so long w/o a proper magic wand tool smh this has been fun doing this every year on cs though. maybe i'll do more simple redraws on-site |

for me drawing random doodles can sometimes spark creativity and the urge to make something. if nothing else it also helps keep me from getting rusty. I understand entirely what you mean with it feeling bad, when i make something forced it just feels empty and gross but i often find myself returning to those pieces after time has passed and seeing something new in them urging me to refine them with more feeling. |
