Im not used to drawing birds, but i hope this is ok

The picture is a quick drawing, not my best I suppose...

So I have got maybe over 100 pictures in this style, but only 1 on DA, and none on here. So I decided to draw one on here. It is still a WIP, but I wanted some crit on how it is so far. I was listening to Shark In the Water and Vannessa Carlton during this picture. When it is done, I hope it may be intermediate worthy. anyway, I love comments. thank you ahead of time.

Well, life hasn't been that great lately. My dad lost his job today and I'm just trying to hold myself together... I fell a part and started crying in front of my friend (I try to avoid crying in front of people...) But, life has been tough, one thing after another and I'm just hoping that everything will work out.. It's in God's hands now. I'm just trying not to start crying again cause if I do I won't stop If you haven't guessed by now this is vent art.

I deleted the base color and it looked pretty nice that way too.

I wanted to draw a human, guess what? I found out though I can draw hands, my feet look like sticks glued onto my character's legs. So I improvised and made it a sort of anthro. I hope the no-clothing thing isn't a problem, I am not even sure if it is male or female. Should I make my own world for these guys?

Done with my laptop. ;3 I'm proud of this, and I really like this picture, and I found a really good way to get that blood pattern. I don't mind people asking me how, but I may as well tell you so I don't have toe explain it lots.
First, you click on that weird-looking bumpy pattern in the brush pattern box, and click on the airbrush tool. There, happy? ^^

Three months had passed since she had joined the pack. Even though she was a omega she enjoyed being in the pack.
She only had one friend in the pack, Rain. The others didn't talk alot to her. He didn't care that she was blind and he treated her like a normal wolf. She liked him a lot. Maybe even so much that she loved him, she wasn't sure.
But she suspected that he liked Glory, the betess in the pack. Glory was the one who had attacked her when she met the diamond peak pack.

Sighing she looked at the ground. She was sitting behind a tree and listening as Glory and Rain talked about the hunt they had been on. She couldn't come, because she was blind.
She yawned and headed towards the sleeping den, when Rain came over to her.
"Can I talk to you for a moment?" he asked. Mist nodded and followed him.

He soon stopped at a silent spot.
She sensed that he was nervous, but she wasn't sure why.
"I-i..." he didn't come any longer before she heard her name being called.
"Sorry. Can we take it later?" she asked. "Y-yes, I suppose..." he answered and Mist dissapeared back to find Wind, the alphess.
"Did you call?" she asked her. "Yes I did. I want you to go find some moss for me." she said. At that moment Mist understood that Wind was carrying pups. She nodded and ran out into the forest, sniffing everywhere for a clump of moss.

She walked back with the moss she had found, not too far out from the dens.
She heard Wind and Scar talking together as she walked over to them.
"Here you go, Wind." she said and dropped the moss in front of her. "Thanks, Mist." Wind said.
Mist dipped her head respectfully before she headed to the sleeping den again.

When she was about to lay down in her sleeping place she noticed that it was filles with soft moss. She sniffed the scent and picked up a faint scent of Rain.
She yawned and laid down. She would thank him tomorrow.
