Got uber lazy on the background and I kinda messed the whole thing by my not being able to shade worth a doo doo :lol: :x

hi this is my 2nd drawing and i was mainly experimenting with the blender & smudge techniques. it worked quite well though im not sure of the owl & the sun :L

Okay! I'm not great but I can try to help ;)
try not to use the premade textures too much, make your own so they don't look repeditive.

also, if you aren't already use lots of layers!I have a seperate layer for background,color, shading, and lines.


Remember the opacity thing. If it's on low, use a bigger brush, high, use a smaller one. And I would try to use small. The burn and dodge tool especially for this one.

Again, I'm not a very advanced artist, so you might want to ask some others for tips too, but when it all comes down to it, it just takes lots of practice to master oekaki :thumbup:

All these characters are from my Cainid roleplay. I drew them as wolves, not Cainids, as Lulu Saphire asked them to be wolves.
Top Row: Cozmo(owned by Jacy<3), Griffin(owned by Lulu Saphire), and Kira(owned by me)

XD I was messing around on Chibipaint trying to create a shadow illusion. It started out as a cat, but then it had long flowy hair, and then it's eye was put in a weird place, now I wanna make adoptables, but it needs a species name.
