This is the second duck in a new set at Pocket Ducks.

i might change the eye....it looks weird to me. I Don't know if i should keep the glow of the flower and the mini waterfall thing too...

Ugh, these look so much better when I draw them on paper. However, this is actually one of my best things on Oekaki. I have no artistic skills . Ah well.

This is a redline for The_Lotus_Wolf.

Your original show a LOT of potential, but there are some quirks in the anatomy here and there. c:

The biggest thing I can see is that the limbs and head are a bit out of proportion.
The head should be larger, while the legs should be slimmer and shorter.
For the actual face, it would help to make the brow more prominent, and the ears and eyes forward.
You could make the fur a little more fluffy, as wolves tend to have quite a mane. Some fluffy fur at the back of the skull, behind the ears, also helps define the neck a little more.

You did a nice job defining the structure of the hind legs, but your front legs have no joints to them. I added a little sketch of a skinny leg bending to define where the joints are a little more.
The hind leg that you can't see can actually be hidden a bit more, making a nice slope.

For the paws, instead of making them chunky and pop out more, making them sort of squish down helps to define that the wolf is standing. (That ref also shows paws very well.)

The tail could be a little higher and shorter, but tails tend to fall into the personal preference category.


Reference as much as possible, and keep practicing! Your drawing definitely shows potential, and you'll be improving in no time. :3

After using the Oekaki for a while, I realized I had never introduced my fursona! So, here she is!

Her name is Ruby and she is an albino wolf pup. I chose these characteristics for good reasons.

A wolf because they're my favorite animal.
A pup because I'm really childish for my age.
And an albino because I feel very unique, but who doesn't!

This was also an experiment for me. I was working on shading and just getting used to oekaki.

Mouse found the wind-up mousey and is very confused. Poor Mouse! Anyway, I was way to bored and had nothing to do(math doesn't count), and I remembered a story I'd read a while ago about a wind-up mouse turning into a real mouse after meeting a live one. So I drew this :D
