i hope you like it. I thought about putting some extra designs but didn't know if you wanted them or not...

With the front foot coming up and forward to the side, like the front paws, and the other leg falling to the side and back.

I hope this looks right-ish. The leg anatomy sucks and all, but I think this gets the point across?

EDIT: edited it with a more foot-like foot. I copied the style from ookami <3 to get the idea across. [I can't draw feet >_>]

I've tried 30 or 40 times, but every time the back legs look completely wrong! Could anyone help? I want him to sort of be like...he just lept off the ground, and he's twisting in mid-air... It's as hard to explain as it is to draw! D: So you should see like a kind of 3/4 view for the back legs, and they'd be angled back a bit from pushing off the ground... yeah. So anybody care to help? It's like a partial red-line. Just let me know and I'll add your name to the list.

I made a red line for you and here are some tips to remember.
Wolves have narrow muzzles and heads.Though they have thick,rather long furred necks.Their noses and eyes are also pretty small.That area you had around the eyes needed to be smaller.The fur that outlines the head is long and thick not short and quick.The neck almost never stickes straigh out from the head so it makes it look bad if you put it like that(It's best to give it a slight downward slant).Try using smoothing next time though(90 is best).

Niara, my newest character. She is Scar and Sarabi's daughter.

Story:
Shortly after Scar returned and rejoined the pride, when he changed his heart, Scar and Sarabi became mates, and married. Soon, they had a cub, Niara, who had some of Scar's looks and some of Sarabi's looks. When my other cub characters, Jabari, Timba, Uru, Salmini, and Kito, are cubs of this age pictured, she's still an infant. When she becomes the age you see her in this picture, Jabari and the rest are in their teen years. She's a very cute, sweet and playful cub, who loves playing with her Mommy and Daddy, and her older brother, Salmini. She also plays with Jabari, Timba, Uru, and Kito, even though their older than her.

This is a quick (and sloppy) stretch of one of characters, who is lacking a name right. If you would like to suggest something I would be very happy. :}

I'm pretty sure I made the cheeck a little to big and I think the neck is also, but other then that I think it's fine, I think... Basically a saber tooth cat can be any big cat with a big tooth(since we don't really know how they look like) Its usually better to use a tiger as a refferece and then add the gaint tooth. Here are some good references.

Mountain lion it doesn't have as much fur or visibel wiskers like the tiger does so it's easer to see the anatomy of a big cat.

Tiger -This tiger picture is a very good side view, but it has a lot of fur and stripes, which can make it hard to draw out.

And last the saber tooth tiger skull, you can use this to help you know how big the tooth and jaw line really is.
