I'm tired of seeing people misspell on this site! (So is this bunny.) :lol: Things like:
People spell it too many times like "advenchure" instead of "adventure."
What's "I'ts"? Do they mean "it's"? Or "its"?
People spell the plural of "box" like "boxs". It's really "boxes"
It's not "ARE cat", it's "OUR cat"!
"It's the dog" is wrong. It would really be "its the dog".
Why "Marry Christmas"? Do you mean "MERRY Christmas"?
I don't care about stuff like "cuz" because the writer misspelled it on purpose!
Not trying to be mean, but it looks better when you write correctly.

A fail drawing... I hated it from the start.

My character, Shade, is trying to act like a bat. Overall, it isn't working. And the branch hasn't even snapped yet.

Time is a lie. I was watching a movie part of the time I was doing this..

I just made this out of boredom, and also to try to become more familiar with oekaki, I'm quite new to it.
There are a FEW flaws you can notice..
Also, the character, Snowflake, does POP OUT against the scene, so I'm going to struggle with that a little bit.. I should have shaded the grass a small bit but, oh well.

Usually, my art style is more along the lines of things on here though: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=873166

So yes, I'm NOT proud of this..

I recently commissioned someone on DA to create a species for me. It was to be based on a rooster and a weasel. They finished, and now I'm working on making it a serious species. There will be many beak variations, depending on genetics and habitat. The hens, females, lack spurs and have smaller comb spikes. There will be 3 species: Silky, Bantam, and Barny. Shown above is basically a Barny rooster.

They do have wings, which they can use to glide short distances and leap/jump quite a ways, but the wings are tucked in when not in use. You can see the Wing Spurs poking out from the armpit. All spurs are used for fighting, and only roosters have these spurs. Roosters are also much larger than hens.

There are numerous variations that may occur:
Variation Name: Rarity
Description

Common Comb: common
Where the comb consists of several spikes, not joined, and length varying depending on position. (shown)

Static Comb: rare
Where the comb consists of several spikes, not joined, and all the same length.

Crested Comb: uncommon
Where the comb consists of several spikes, joined about midway up the spine. Length varies depending on position.

Erect Tail: rare
Where the tail feathers are very stiff and all stand straight up.

Phoenix Tail: common
Where the tail feathers grow to be long and silky. (shown)
