I just wanted to practice my horse antomy and shading. Is the antomy and shading correct? If you go to the one it's based off of you can red line. :)

If this is not intermediate worthy, please move to Sketched & Experiments.

This is all mouse drawn and timer is correct.

Introducing the Alamorae

Alamorae is a species I had I my head a week or two ago and is the species of my Fursona. (Don't have it yet.) The species will be in a RP soon, and in the invite part only, and the first ten people to fill out a form will get in.

I have been working on my shading so comments and critiques are very appreciated!

:ugeek: Use the color blender. It's fun! also, when you use the color filler paint bucket thingy, zoom in after and fill in all the white pixles.

My fursona is an assassin so I wanted to sketch him out as one. His long hair dosen't do well with the assassin hood so I gave him show hair. Still cute.

(The aim of this picture was to challenge myself not to use the bezier tool for the lineart, so the dog is freehand pen drawn with my mouse :))

Yes, so as the title suggests, it is a hyacinth macaw.
Even though this one didn't turn out nearly how I would've liked it to be, I still like how it did turn out. I may work on it later though, because I wasn't all satisfied with the feathers. o.o The background is random, and yeah. That's about it.

I have 12 lazy cats, a owl, a rat and several others, heh heh.
I think you use darkened colours to mix them and use shades and the blending tool to give a feather effect. c:

if you draw cats paws like and L then they seem too stiff and unnatural. they actually curve a little, and although cats do sometimes stand like L it suggests little movement and your picture looks weird... :/

I saw a lolcat where someone had drawn a smiley face on a cats foot... that always helped me remember the shape...jellybean toes! ^^

urmm....I think the rest is a bit self explanatory... but learning the bones and how the claw-sheathing stuff works is really helpful :) (I didn't search it...I was playing with my cat and I noticed that putting pressure in-between the pads spread the paw out and unsheathed the claws.... I didn't hurt my cat in any way, she was asleep at the time, and I was very careful )

I'm trying to figure out how to get an Art Shop going, but I can't even figure out how to make a picture for a signiture!! It would be really appreiacted if someone could tell me how... Thanks!

Right click the oekaki picture you wanna use, then, um, well for Google Chrome it says "copy image url", I'm not sure about other browsers, then after you've copied the url, go to the place where you edit your signature, put it wherever, then put the IMG tags around it.

Well what I do is I right click the picture and save it to my computer, then go to an image uploading site like www.tinypic.com ... I crop the white space there and make it smaller, and then copy the URL of it. Then you just add the brackets if its not already there ^_^
