Sandstorm is a true-born messenger. She'll gladly chat with you and hang around, but that's in her free time. Once a message needs to be sent, she will be completely focused on the job of getting it to it's destination and coming back safely, without running into trouble. She's loyal to her clan, and will do anything to protect them, even if it costs her life. Although not exactly the most social Yiki'tar around, as soon as you've gotten to know her, you'll get along just fine. Becoming mad is not like her at all. She rarely has that angry feeling, unless she's in battle. But all-in-all, whatever it takes Sandstorm to get her message to where it needs to be and back, that's exactly what'll happen. Usually.
History/Story:
"Mom! Sand clawed me again!"
Sandstorm rolled her orange eyes, sighing as she shook her gray, yellow-striped head. Another lie from the annoying liar, Swipe. He always made up little things that Sandstorm had never done, and shrieked about them to his mother, Gea. Sometimes he even cried, which would attract his father's attention too.
"Sandstorm! You know not to treat your brother that way! Don't you ever do it again, and there go your dinner privileges!" Gea snapped as she cradled Swipe against her stomach, who happened to be smirking at her. "Yes, Gea." Sandstorm mumbled, turning away to stare into the woods.
Sandstorm had been lost out there, abandoned by her mother years ago when she was young and weak. But somehow, she'd managed to survive alone, by teaching herself to locate water and catch prey. It wasn't so hard, but Sandstorm was never one for killing animals. It just was never her nature. Then Gea had found Sandstorm sleeping underneath a canopy of trees, and had taken her in.
"Enjoying the view?" Sneered a voice next to her big ears. Swipe again. "Whatever," Sandstorm huffed, pushing him away from her with her light paws.
"Mommy, mommy! Sand shoved me!" Swipe wailed, throwing his ugly head back and scrunching up his eyes. "Sandstorm!" Gea snarled, charging into the scene. "You do not touch Swipe in that manner! What did I te-"
"Just be quiet!" Sandstorm suddenly hissed, her yellow-marked body tensing, as if preparing for an attack. "I wish you would just listen to me for once! But noo. You have to snuggle up with Swipe! I can't take it anymore! You are horrible parents, and I hate you!"
Sandstorm didn't even look back as she burst into the forest with one quick leap. She was gone, just like that.

Sandstorm steadied herself on her paws. It had been so long since she'd tasted the wonderful rush of water in her mouth, and the tartness of food filling her belly. Many days and nights had passed where she avoided danger, such as the Bonakasine. They would use there sharp teeth to show at her, which was enough to cause her to be cautious with every step.
Garan. That was where Sandstorm was traveling through. She'd only heard stories of the dreaded land, never once did she think she would actually see it in real life. It wasn't a pretty sight. The small amount of grass that grew was dry, and hardly any trees poked out of the ground, but the ones that did were wilting or dead. No water nourished the land and food was scarce. Very scarce.
Dispite her yearning for something to eat or drink, Sandstorm continued at a brisk pace, never once stopping unless it was to sniff the air. She could see a beautiful valley in the distance, one full of rolling hills that seemed to go on forever, and the glisten of water in the sunlight. It was a wonderful sight.
Night fell across Garan, but Sandstorm was nearly there. Then again, her eyelids were closing on her orange eyes. Just a few more steps, she thought exaughstedly. I... I can make it... Maybe.... Sandstorm collapsed, her paws reaching out towards the lush grass.

"Look. Her Life Pulse, it's red." "Yep, she's a messenger." "And you say you just found her?" "I swear! She was just lying there!"
These words jumbled up in Sandstorm's head as she lay, but where were they coming from? Squinting her eyes, she peered out at what looked like... Her. They looked exactly like her, with different coats and markings. And they seemed to have shining armor coating their bodies.
