The Emperor Penguins stand strong,
and wait for the darkness to end.
They endure harsh winds,
and the blackest bleak days,
which cannot be differed from night.
Then, when winter falls, the sun will regain,
for the few precious months, and life begins again to thrive.
Busting females, who sailed through the months,
return, stomachs full and ready.
The eggs which were held steady,
will be provided, and life to another bleak time.

Yes, I finally drew Layla once more. I tried a new shading style as well.
I not sure if I'm intermediate ready, so I'll keep on beginners for now. If anyone wants too give me tips on how to do a better setting, please tell me. ^-^

I hope you enjoy this piece of art. =) The style of shading is new and experimental for me.

This is a character that I have only made the head marking for so far. I really like her colors; she is pure love. <3 I'm not sure if I'll have time to finish her... I'm also considering selling her. If you know of a good wolf line art that would allow me to finish the design then sell the design using that ref, I'd love to know(preferably oekaki). <3 If your interested in buying her, please just PM me. =)

Tip for making characters: Pick out the color scheme you want before starting on the character. Try to stick to those colors, then you'll have a color matching design. You can see the colors I started with at the top of the image.
