(il explain the numbers xP)

1. try drawing a few wolf skulls, and try shaping it more to the head, they have a bit more distance. also, their eye always lines up with the nose, and the nost is complicated i kno XP it takes alot of practice to get it done right... same with chins. they are hard as well. (sometimes ears can be a pain)
2. try and even up your feet so they match on both sides, try and use a line as i did. your paw shape is good, i wouldent change that. same with your front leg anatomy, its beautiful ^^
also try and puff out the chest a little more, unlike cats k-9s actually have a chest, belive it or not xD
3. sometimes use a line on the back part of the feet to make sure they look even, if not it kinda make it look a bit funny.
4. Try and make your tail more rounded, and not stick out so much, they have more relaxed tails ^^

Overall, your anatomy was pretty good, but try studing anatomy a little more, and youl be a pro :] it takes a while, but once you get it down youl never half to draw a skeleton again. (but if somthing looks off, draw one ^^) also, try and practice with angles and such :]

Just A Typical Cat Eye Any Tips

This is my first comic, and it is called "Dragon".
It will be in all Japanese, and I will put translations down in here. ^^ It will be in English, way easier for me XD
This is the cover, and this my first attempt at an eye on here. I tried out dodge and burn, and made the background using paintbrush, and using Dodge, Burn, and Airbrush, I made the writing and the eye.

The comic is about a species called 形状シフター (pronounced kay-jo shee-foo-tah), which is a wolf that shape-shifts into what they call their "True Spirit". Their True Spirit could be any animal, and they usually are proud of it. They also always have a symbol thing on their left shoulder. They are almost always named after that symbol. (example: Storm has a lightning bolt on his shoulder.) Also, they only find their True Spirit in their dreams--they will dream about being one when they are around 2 years old.

Moon is the main charrie, and she is trying to figure out her True Spirit, desperately. Her only "friend", Star, only cares about herself, leaving Moon heartbroken, her only friend lost.

I'm gonna be working on the pages, and yeah, there is a prologue. I didn't make up the charries in the prologue, they from Japanese legends. So, I didn't make up Amaterasu and Yami. No prologue. It was too hard and whenever I went to a new tab it deleted all my work 0.0 I'll get started on the story part now!

My first Oekaki. I've known that I fail at art when its done on my PC ever since i first tried it. I can't do ears, bodies, clothes, etc. because they require free-handing. how is this head? Its based on my traditional drawing of a cat.

Do you have any tips (other than "get a tablet") to doing an oekaki?

this is my OC Akiru. This is my first drawing using Oekaki and i didn't feel like putting any detail so it's just the bace colours of akiru and a sketchy linear. Akiru is a little nervous but says hi to everyone, and so do I... so there you go!! oh, and no ref's used. =3

EDIT: yay!! 4 likes?? for this?? O.o lol, maybe i'll draw Akiru embarassed next time because of the compliments... also edited the title, i forgot the 'r' in 'intro'... XD

I should let you know this only took me about 20 - 30 minutes, however i left it open when i called a friend, did the dishes and vacumed... =3

Summary:

Not a lot of problems regarding the overall shape and anatomy. Your neck was a touch too long and the head might be a touch too small/body too big. xD

The back feet I think had the biggest issues, it was pushed forward too much and looked like it was gonna break. An easy way to fix this is to make sure your lines stay straight when working with that part of the leg. :3

On the front legs, there's those weird little arm pads at the wrist of the arm. The dew claw should be right around that area too.

i may refine the lines a bit more as i get usedto my tablet, but should this be an adoptable??
