Behaviour
The behaviour of these wonders is determined by one thing: Artificial intelligence. Depending on how this vital piece is created, your Guardian Gemstone may have moods and personalities from laid-back and serene, to outgoing and violent. This intelligence also allows them to consider and understand how they have been treated; if they've been abused, they're more opted to be shy and skiddish. If they've been abandoned, they'll be fierce and wild.

Where They're Made
The Gemmis Volutpat are created in the heart of Germany, deep in underground laborotories run by discharged scientist of Nazi descent. They saw the possibilities of these new creations: Peacekeepers, Guards... they could have function in everday life, and not only as a machine, but as a beauty in the hearts of many cities. Germany's government, however, saw these as nothing but mindless war machines, and discarded the concept completely.
The scientists often snuck these machines into the war to mock the government for discarding their ideas, hoping their machines would fail--they were wrong. These machines helped in war and lead the path to great victories. Without revealing them to the outside world, Germany was able to conquer more and more lands.

What Happened?
Once the wars were over, Germany sought no need of these Gemmis Volutpat. They felt they were respected enough to gain whatever they wished.
Without anywhere to place these former hounds of war, the scientists have posted them for adoption.

I'm actually somehow proud of this x3 I'm always embarassed to post my artwork, yes, but I feel more confident with this one.
Of course I'm no artist like most of you out there, but my shading/highlighting has improved. I tried out a few different techniques, and well, came up with this. If you take a look in my gallery, there's no shading whatsoever. I was way too embarassed to post something more awful than my work already is :3

This drawing isn't serious or anything x3 I was just fooling around. It's supposed to look messy and.. badly drawn, yes x3 The whole point was to focus on my shading and highlighting.

Anyway, comments and critique are highly appreciated. I need a few tips on shading and stuff, too.

this lion differs from others in a big way
because this lion is not part of a pride, no he romes alone
serching for his lioness and power over all, the lion
he must kill now, but not a gazele nor a buffalo ox
this time another of his kind, a lion bigger and strounger
they let out a shalow grow, and then a load raw, trying to out do the other
with in a short momment the last raw is said
two cats fly into the air, claws sharp and ready to kill
a flash of claws and teeth raw, and a fast flash of blood covers the ground
both lions toach thier toes to the ground, but only one stands strat up
the lion, small and strong stands up tall to the back of the other on the ground
the bigger lion lie on the ground but still liveing
with out a care the cold blooded kill walks away
he only cares about finding his mate
he is strougn, he is determoned

Just a little doodle thing. I like llamas, they're cute and derpy at the same time. So, I have adopted this llama character.

Did you know farmers use llams to guard their sheep from predators? So, that's kind of what I was going for. Wolfee goes off to eat a sheepie, then, a strange creature steps out of the shadows... -munch munch-...
