Snow?

My fursona Aura experiencing her first snow! D'aww! X3 (where she comes from there isn't any snow...)
The timer is off by about forty minutes, I left this on and had dinner. ^^ But yeah, I spent quite a bit fussing with the shading and colours to get it right -hopefully- .
Please tell me if this is intermediate yet. I really hope so! :3 If not, tips on how to make it better would be really nice.

Inspired by my kitty on Sims 3 Pets. :3 Mina is a longhaired cat with large ears, big green eyes, light grey fur, white front paws, tail and inner ear, black lines on her legs and tail marking the end of the white parts, and, of course, a bobtail. She is shy, yet happy and curious, and loves chasing butterflies and playing in snow. She prefers to be alone when she plays, but a couple of close friends are okay. She gets embarassed if people see her falling off something- due to her stubby tail, her balance is terrible.

Art and charrie are (c) to me alone. :)

This is another attempt to draw my dog, katya, if you haven't seen my first drawing of her, well, her brothers were chubby floppy-eared malamutes, there were actually a LOT of the malamutes and husky-malamutes like katya; her mother was a beutiful brown husky and her dad was a BIG malamute.

So back in November I had an idea. I was going try to draw a picture everyday in December till Christmas, sorta like an advent calendar. It was mostly just a challenge to make myself draw more. Since I don't really have a lot stuff to draw I decided to just draw other peoples charries.
