This is Golly the demon cat! His best friend and comrade in misdeeds is Oodalolly.
Golly has been a demon a few millennia longer than Oodalolly so he's much more practiced at it.

      The night our lives changed forever. A new moon left the sky blank, only a dim blanket of stars remaining to light the way. Lunar took a cautious step onto the balcony, pivoting his earing back and forth to check for movements. He signaled to his mate, a red fox with a feather tied around her neck, that it was safe to continue. She stepped lightly forward, scanning the area as she went. The two Alphas made their way off the balcony and began to tread down the stairs at the back of the castle. Amber, the castle's top guard and Lunar's childhood friend, had instructed them to sneak out of the castle just after sundown. She warned of an upcoming rebellion of the villagers and stated the importance of leaving immediately. Lunar was skeptical, agreeing to leave only for the sake of his mate.

      A twig snapped, causing Lunar to stiffen. Showers, his mate, stood close. Again, they scanned the area, but nothing seemed out of place. "Let's go," Lunar assured her. Showers gave the black wolf a nervous glance before resuming to descend the stairs. "Once we make it to the woods we can run from there," whispered Lunar.

      As the two continued, they heard the clicking of claws on stone. Lunar stood defensively next to Showers. "Come out here!" He growled. A tan and white colored wolf emerged from the darkness; a bloodthirsty look in his eye. "You won't be going anywhere!" He hissed. Lunar stiffened; his ears were pinned to the side of his head, seemly confident. However, there was a missing factor; Lunar's powers. Without a moon present in the sky, there was no way for him to power up. He was so used to using his powers to eliminate his enemies that he had forgotten how to fight without them. Lunar stood there, paralyzed, not knowing what to do. His tail quickly found its way between his legs as the aggressor charged forward, leaving him powerless. Lunar stood his ground; he would take the hit if it meant that his mate could get away. He didn't care what happened to him; perhaps this is the fate he deserved.

      Showers jumped forward, a bright red glow illuminating from her eyes. A glowing shield manifested before her, causing the charging wolf to smashing into the luminescent boundary. Heat began to radiate from her pelt, and it seemed as if her whole body were glowing as well. A snapping sound followed as the attacker's jaw cracked from the impact. He fell slowly to the ground; left unconscious from the blow. Once the threat was gone, the glowing shield dissipated as quickly as it had appeared.



      Yes, I did just write this whole thing just now. Let me know what you think of my writing! Tips and constructive criticism are appreciated.

      Bruh, you write so well! As someone who can create scenarios in my mind for even the most nondescriptive of writing, the description forced my mind to visualize something specific, even without the visual cues of the accompanying drawing (which, by the way, is also gorgeous; that lighting is everything <33). The fact that you were able to keep my mind on track and were able to make me want to read more is quite an accomplishment! I have really bad reading comprehension and I was able to grasp what was going on. Descriptive writing is a gift that not a lot of writers possess, so I say you're well on your way there.

      Also, I love that song; it's been quite some time since I've listened to it... although I also listen to a nightcore remix of it... which I didn't realize it was a remix until just now when I looked up the original, only to realize it didn't sound the exact same XD Here's the version I'm used to if you want to listen to it (I believe the lyrics are the same) :) Original by SVRCINA, of course <3 Remixed by NightcoreReality
