Here is a pic of Scourge, and this is like a forum. Do you think Scourge is good, evil, or misunderstood? I think that Scourge is evil and misunderstood. He was bullied in his kithood so he became evil.

I'll be honest, this is really too stylized, but it still looks like a cat though right? The forehead is really bad... Here's a better one from Ki-Mono if you would like to check that out.

Either way, most of these notes will actually be pretty similar to the canine's notes. Generally speaking, the feline's muzzle is just broader and the slope where the snout connects to the face is less extreme.

- Profile

-- The general shape is like a trapezoid, which is wide towards the face and narrower towards the nose. I didn't really define it well, as you see, so I recommend tapering it more than I did.

-- Upon writing this, I realize I did not define the top of the head well... the blue line should be the forehead and the snout, but you should also cut/intersect through the circle sketch to mark the top of the head, which is still somewhat flat.

-- Oh gosh, I'm noticing several problems with this at this point... Well, this is a good time to note how good personal research is. Sometimes I think I know what a cat looks like-- then I realize I'm wrong. I recommend doing breakdown sketches on top of animals, citing major shapes, proportions, and feature alignments:

Doing breakdowns like this is simply better for learning than carefully tracing the outlines, to which I will tell you,,, don't.

Just doing this quick draw-over, I already can see what I've done wrong. The ears are WAY to high, at least the ear canal. You can see where the top of the head should be. But I can also see what is correct, such as the tear duct mostly lining up with the nose edge/nostril.

Even if you're only interested in drawing cartoon-y stuff, like myself, understanding the real thing is very important and will make stylization easier, and allow it to look correct--even if you decide you like to draw the eyeballs as big as watermelons.

- Front

-- Since I was so wrong to begin with on profile, here's another breakdown I just did:

-- Another diamond-y shape, just smushed. In comparison to the canine, the muzzle comes out broader. The farthest edge of the muzzle is is slightly farther out than the center of the eye, while the canines is aligned with the center of the eye.

--As for the nose, it is smaller than a canines, and the edges are a little closer to the center than the tear ducts--in comparison with canines, whose nose edges are aligned with the tear ducts. The edge where the lip ends is still aligned with the tear duct, however.

-- Notice the somewhat V shape in the alignment from nostril, to tear duct, to the inward edge of the ear? It is not straight up and down the way I had it.

-- I don't know what to say about this one anymore, honestly. The canine notes were pretty straight forward--once you learn the front and side view, this view will be easier to figure out.

-- But again, put that center line down, you will need it, pleaseee

1. How could you not want to color these lines? Fantastic I love them
2. Doing a practice run with my cheap pen to see how well I can do color-ins. I6s definitely possible but I cant get the level of detail id like and its a slow process. Ill just keep it simple
And 3. I really want to add another dog to my ARPG but I havent been able to decide what. Ive seen several id like to adopt but usually they've already been claimed so I decided to make my own! Plus dog genetics practice
For this I will be making several different designs until I find the one I like enough to keep. Ones I dont click with I will do open adopts for. Small bios will be added to each dog so I can get a feel for the character.
(Please give me a few days to "get to know" each dog before offering to adopt)
