A base refers to a starting point or basically what the lines looked like before I added the design on top. Iou-Cat made the original base, but saying that they made the lines works as well for crediting purposes <3

Barlow. Toying with the idea of having him be Rauro's dragon guide? I love the idea of the first host to help Rauro adjust to his new role as the Blooded, and it solves some plot gaps, but it makes new issues in it of itself. We'll see X3

This is so it's easier to see how they're shaped for drawing purposes. You can of course stylize them how ever you want if you draw your hounds, I'm not the police. My style is also really cartoony so feel free to make your as realistic as you want. They're kinda somewhere between greyhounds and pharaoh hounds.
