What a beautiful deer! The background is simple but it looks like a red sun with clouds, and portrays the mood of the whole piece perfectly!

    (the timer will be well off,, took a lot of breaks to laugh @ myself for doing this)

    started off as a joke to kinda cheer myself up and to share a giggle with people abt this creation but uhh yeah I kinda love them all now ?? please give me more name suggestions I want quesadillaclan's empire to grow

    - they're based in a big city and they're not really a proper clan, let's be real, they're more a bunch of friendly loners who banded together and kinda took on the roles/lifestyle they've heard about from clan cats who have passed through
    - let's just assume they know what people food is called, it makes the names so much better :>
    - they're kinda like glorified raccoons in that they eat a lot of food scraps but also keep the mice/rat population down so people feed them sometimes as a reward for that, and aren't bothered by them being around
    - their 'camp' is basically made up of knocked down trash cans + wooden crates lined with blankets, newspapers, cardboard, and so on. surprisingly cozy

    gonna add character personalities soon,, laptop overheating :P

    Softservestar: big cat with a bigger heart, everyone's dad, loves telling stories to kits, asks everyone how their day's been, soft n pure like his namesake

    Pizzaheart: kind of a deputy? spunky lil girl with a lot of personality, can get over excited, v protective of her clanmates, her and Softservestar kinda balance each other out. she'll be a good leader when she's a bit older and wiser

    Burgerbelly: chonky mans with a seemingly bottomless appetite, can and will eat a whole burger to himself. kinda lazy, but a good listener if you wanna chat and ramble on about something. loves his food but he's also the last cat to let another go hungry

    Cookiefur: mother to the group, and also mother to Frenchfrypaw and Sausagerollpaw (Potatotail is her mate + their father). very kind and sweet tempered, also lovely to cuddle with. will always give praise and cheer others on

    Potatotail: a bit bumbling and clumsy (not helped by the tail situation) but always does his best, and is always modest and shy when he does a good deed. works hard to be the best father he can be (didn't know his growing up, so he's learning fatherhood as he goes). loves Cookiefur v much for all her love and encouragement

    Frenchfrypaw: the more outgoing of the two littermates; more likely to get into trouble, but he's honest about it, so that's something. an energetic early bird who likes to explore and is (secretly) quite a mama's boy

    Sausagerollpaw: he's happier to stroll around on a nice sunny morning, and spend the day relaxing. loves his food (maybe not quite as much as Burgerbelly), and also loves to stargaze from rooftops

    Another rework of a previous thing bc I feel absolutely drained, but nevertheless, this is really important to me! I have been minimizing my use of social media the past few days, and have instead tried to comment on a few different oekaki posts and expressing how happy the art pieces have made me rather than just simply liking the art piece. I ask that if you have any artists you follow and recommend checking out, that you link to them here! Looking at art is a great way to feel just a little bit happier, and when an artist gets recognition for the pieces they work hard on or a piece where they use an experimental technique, it can make their day! Also, I just really like getting new recommendations of artists to follow. I just want to drop by users and just be an extra person reminding them how amazing they are; I think it's something many of us need right now. Even if someone has already been suggested, feel free to link them again and write your own little personal note about why you enjoy their work so much! Thanks so much y'all for helping me to spread the love<333

    I will post some of my own suggestions below to start us off! I will post some more if this gets any interest but I don't want to overwhelm anyone as there's already a lot of text here!
    - RangerTheCowPony: creates incredible equine designs and their characters are always very expressive!
    - acadicus: honestly, would never have made it very far in my progression of art without them. They have taught me so much and I consider them a huge inspiration<3
    - J-and-K341: not only has the cutest characters, but creates fantastically detailed scenery that I want to dive right into. I don't know them very well, but they seem to be really supportive of other CS artists and very kind!
    - rockosaur: a really cool pal that creates amazingly unique and detailed designs with really cool pops of color!
    - loelya: everything they create is so beautifully stunning, I always love their use of colors!

I encourage everyone to spread some love and kindness to each other, either through CS or in your real day to day lives.     Aaaannyway! I definitely recommend Alien fish (and not only because im best buds with them ahah!) xD The way they draw characters is just so satisfying? They're always the sweetest to talk with as well!


    Also Echoclouds because they've been going through some rough times and could really use the lifting up and extra love on their art because its just so darn great, especially their character designs and scenery work! ^^
