Lately I've been feeling like I'm just not progressing in flat art, like, at all lol. I'm just stuck. I know what I know and I can do that but I don't challenge myself and I especially do not spend much thought on composition. I started this to do exactly that. Limited color palette, trying to step outside of my comfort zone and think more about composition. I know there's a lot I need to work on and improve but I can't do it unless I try and fail and try again so,, here is one of those lol.

next time i try to do something like this,,, please remind me to not do that. Doing all those little lines with my trackpad made my hands and wrists v sad haha!

tried a new technique and wanted to try for some more realism, but still not as realistic as i would've liked:/ but with this i've managed to draw all three of my favorite boys in a more realistic style<3

pretty basic but i just wanted some more practice with the airbrush tool and different effects like overlay, etc., and i've also been wanting to draw a manta ray for quite some time now. loosely inspired by Moana and my fond memories of mantas, as well as this ref more so for patterns/coloration than anything

So like, hex codes can spell out some words. So I decided to see what those colors were and toss on a 0 for each one that didn't have enough letters left over. These are the random colors + some random designs I came up with to go with them. Probably a fox fairy creature, comes in two modes: Night and Day. Night are lightning bugs and their tails light up and Day are just butterflies.

The hex codes used were:

Then the same words, but with the 0s at the start instead of the back:
