(Apologies in advance for a heavier topic than what my drawings usually are about, but I feel like I needed to draw something in order to have even a bit of closure)

I wish you peace, warmth, and above all else, happiness, something you did not get enough of during your time here on Earth. From our first "hello," we had such an odd and light friendship. I didn't know much about you and you didn't know much about me, but regardless, you stuck around and always managed to put a smile on my face. You gave me advice, became my friend without warning. I always loved spotting your drawings on the forum, whether it was a messy sketch or a full piece.

It feels bittersweet knowing that I checked up on you a little too late this time around, friend, but I hope you know, that you left a big impact on my life, and I could never, ever forget you. This wound is gonna sting for a long time. Even now I have the itch to pm your account.

Before I drown my keyboard with tears, I just want to say thank you. I truly did love you.

I had this same realization not too long ago. Shoe had been a big part of my online life at once as well and I'm still not too okay after finding it all out. It's so comforting and warming knowing that Shoe was this little beacon of light in not only my life, but so many others', too. I hope some day I get closure, and I hope this helps you get some, too.

I honestly wouldn’t have known until I mentioned her and then a friend told me the news ahhh. I’m not good with grief, and I’m sure like many others that have left me, I don’t think I could ever “move on” from this. Regardless, it felt good to draw her character, Loud, again.
