Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.

Meet the River Hog! This one creates a two-tone striping mark from the eye back to the hindquarters. It shows as two or three thick, wavy stripes in black with a cream or off-white shadow. It always touches the edge of the eye, and must be fully solid without breaks.

To win this one, give them another animal companion, as long as it isn't the usual barnyard creature!

Meet the Malaysian Snakehead! This black marking gives sharp ridged lines from the head to the hindquarters; the lines may be solid or broken. There are always at least two lines, one along the spine and the other from the eye down the sides.
The peaks of this marking are sharp, never round. The lines can be thin like shown, or a thicker like the fish itself.
Leg markings never go below the upper areas, nor are there any seen anywhere else on the face and ears.
The mane and tail are not effected by this marking.

Embarrassing moment: Yurei was an agile and fast lykaio always able to fit into small gaps. Well one day he was breezing through the waters when he noticed a small arch throughout the coral. He thought to himself 'I will get through that easy' and swam straight into the arch. But he soon realised that wasnt the case as he soon realised he was stuck. He wiggled and pushed trying to free himself, when he heard giggling behind him. All the local fauna that swam past saw his tail swish to and fro whilst he was trying to wiggle free.

Chicoons are a strange subclass of dragon, and although they are closely related to Amphithere as well as Western dragons, they are unlike either! Chicoon have long, flexible necks, a curly and stretchy tongue, floppy ears, a box-like head, wings on their head, and a flame that hovers by their tail.

Chicoon are Arboreal Fruigivores that stand roughly 4 feet in height. They have a high intelligence and can lean how to communicate with any animal, however lack the necessary vocal chords to speak any verbal language. They express emotions mainly through body language and the use of their head-wings, they have proven to be very friendly and generally enjoy the company of humans!

As you finish writing your name in the guest book, you feel a massive paw on your shoulder, and turn around to see a large and intimidating Kalon. He looks like a snow leopard with two tails, and the biggest paws you've ever seen. His eyes are glowing as he stares down at you with an unreadable expression, as if sizing you up. You wonder briefly if maybe you've wandered into the wrong place, and you aren't supposed to be here. Before you can start making excuses however, a huge grin splits the man's face and he lets out a warm laugh, squeezing your shoulder with more gentleness than one would imagine from those enormous clawed paws.

He booms, voice deep and gruff, but friendly, "Welcome to the Firefox Inn!"

It appears you're in the right place after all.

"You must be here for the festival! Let's get you settled into a room, and then you can explore the village! We've got loads to do around here, especially this time of year! OH!" He looks a bit sheepish, but smiles. "I'm Toma. Feel free to come to me if you need anything at all during your stay!"

The Festival feast was so exciting. You ate and danced and laughed and had a wonderful time with all the new friends you've made here in the village. Everyone spent time together well into the night, when the stars came out and the fires cast flickering shadows over the forest. Slowly everyone was too tired to continue, saying "goodbyes" and "until tomorrow" as they all trickled home. Toma carried a worn out and fast asleep Yuki back to the Inn, Beckett following behind them and tucking the kit's hair away from his face.

You give one last glance back to the table piled with food for the cryptid, only to find it... empty.

When did that happen? You rub your eyes to make sure you're not seeing things, but it really is empty, gone in the blink of an eye. You hope whatever ate the food enjoyed it, every single dish made by this community with love. You're sure it did.

You're feeling exhausted yourself, so you make your way back to the Firefox. You feel a soft breeze blow through the field, and it's a little warmer than before. Spring really is on the way. And then... As you stand alone in the dark, amidst melting snow and under the stars, you look back to the trees and you see it.

Your Kalon catches sight of Winter Cryptid. What happens?

It has been quite the trek to make it out to this remote village nestled in the snowy mountains, but as you cross under the sign reading "Kalokairi Village" and get a view of the scenery, you see it's even more beauitful than in travel photos. As you're taking everything in, a Kalon you don't know comes up to you with a friendly smile.

"Never seen you around here," they say. "Here for the Festival? Well you're right on time!"

They point over to a large but cozy looking inn, just past a fountain in the village center. "You should head over to Toma's place! You can check in at the inn, and he's got sign ups for the Festival activities!" They clap you on the back.

"Welcome to Kalokairi! Enjoy the Winter Festival!"
