Hexilli is a sorceress, born with lots of magical potential. One day while dabbling in the mystic arts, Hexilli caused a rift to form in her workspace. Unfortunately, this brought all sorts of creatures and spirits into our realm. She was able to close the rift and banish most, but one stuck with her. It tried to take over her body completely, but she resisted. As a result, it was banished into her tail. A mouth and eyes took form and she heard his voice speaking through it. No matter what she tries, she cannot be rid of this silver tongued devil. Most of the time, he has a comical facial expression to throw off his devilish desires. Unfortunately for Allister, he cannot harm his host, though he has tried on several occasions. Maybe one day the two will be able to find a good compromise and learn to work with each other.

She had crawled her way to safety, free from the clutches of the deep ocean trench she had previously called home. Deeply wounded, she laid there absorbing oxygen and letting her body rest after the strenuous swim to the surface. She wasn't ready to face the truth yet nor did she have the mental fortitude to start planning her next move. The only thing running through her mind was a single repeating thought--

I have nothing.

Thana had to leave behind everyone she knew and definitely did not have the time to take anything with her; all she had now, was herself. Nothing sentimental, no connections to her ocean home. After everything that had happened, no one would be following after her, especially not with concern or affection.

She didn't know if she should laugh or cry over it; her emotions were all over the place and her thoughts would not cooperate. All she could think of was--

Nothing.

The sound of the ocean waves was distant, the clouds covered not only the moon, but patches of the night sky. The land animals were sleeping, and the insects were too far from the coast in order to be heard. Thana was laying on the precipice of both worlds, void of all sensations but her aching body and sole thought.

Being alone in thought, alone in her torrential feelings, allowed Thana to meditate, settling her racing pulse. Letting her emotions wash out of her like the tide pulling away from the shore; leaving them in the ocean, leaving them behind her.

This was her time to emerge from adolescence into adulthood; the final transformation. Her reckoning.

She would never again be in the same situation that drove her from her childhood home. Thana would not let that happen again. Even if she had to harden her heart and sharpen her claws-- She would never put another above her own wellness.

Well Salem had came upon a sick little weiner dog puppy one night on one of many late night walks.
He ended up taking it home and working for days on end to help get the poor puppy get better; naming it Misti after awhile.
His biggest accomplishment was getting the puppy better and it a forever home; his home of course!
