Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Writing

- 100 words = 2 treasure
- every 1000 words = bonus 2 treasure

Example Calculation; 2028 words; 2000 words = 20. 1000 word bonus x2 = 4. total treasure; 24

Art

- headshots = 2 treasure
- halfbodies = 3 treasure
- fullbodies = 5 treasure
- colored = x2 treasure (ex. colored headshot = 2x2 = 4 treasure. does not multiply treasure from shading or bg)
- shading = +3 treasure
- background = +5 treasure (background must be a scene)

Example Calculation; two fullbody selrosvo on a background. fullbody x2 = 10. colored = 10 x 2 = 20. background = 5. total treasure; 25

Bonuses

- gift art (drawing a selro that is not your own) = +3 bonus treasure
- NPC art (drawing one of the selro NPCS) = +5 bonus treasure

-Your pup must be at least 2 weeks old old before they can grow up.

-Anyone, including normal members or staff can grow a pup.

-Once the growth is complete, it must be looked over and approved by a staff member. This can be done via PMs, discord DMs, on the oekaki thread, etc. However it it is done privately a screenshot of proof must be provided with the growth.

-To be added to this thread you must provide a link to a pup you are growing. You will not be added otherwise.

-You may charge a fee to others to grow their pups if you wish, or you may do it for free.

-Please do not add new edits without using an item.

Transfers
-This refers to transferring USB-D0G made via the old lines/version into these lines. This includes the old CS thread OR any made on dA! If they existed before 2020, they are eligible for transfer.

-You can do the transfer, or find someone else willing to.

-Since we didn't use an edit system before please try to match edits and rarity to the best of your ability. If you would like help simply leave a link to your D0Gs image so it may be checked over.

-You are allowed to make very minor changes to the colors/markings and you may remove edits and swap them out for the standard, non edited version. However the design must still look recognizable as the old one! Changing the tint, adding or removing some markings, etc. If you're unsure please ask if your changes are too much!

-Please do not add new edits without using an item.

More rules may be added if I see fit.
