He was absolutely fascinated by this and had to try it for himself. Cowboy sourced the proper horse riding attire from the twoleg's nest, a hat and bolo tie ! He's spent the last twenty moons perfecting his horse riding skills, he can maneuver them through heavy obstacle courses, he can do flips while riding them and even flip up his hat and wink! Though he's heard the twolegs talk so much about lions and tigers, he is convinced that horses are just his big cat ancestors.

The shadow was always what had costed River their meal. "Oh how I wish you, Shadow would never be there! You caused me to go hungry, more hungry that I have before. Oh how it hurt, it hurt so bad. You hurt me! You hurt me from the inside!" River yelled at themself upset, it had hurt, it had hurt so bad and yet they wouldn't yell at their shadow, that was point less! So pointless, just like always. "Oh how I wish you were never there! Oh how I wish I never had you!" They shouted upset at their shadow.

It just stayed there. It didn't have a mind. It wouldn't hear them, couldn't hear their pain as they yelled out to this shadow in pain. Oh how it hurt them, so much hurt, so much pain came from this tiny think they called a shadow. "A shadow just feels like a curse! A terrible curse that never goes away! You hurt me! Hurt me!" River yelled as their voice got louder the trees swayed almost to tell them something. It was done now, they had nothing left to yell, nothing left to cry to this shadow in pain and tears.

Snowleopard sat in the shadows of the broken trees that surrounded the stone clearing. The sound of the wind through the dead branches made her fur bristle.

Many of her clanmates revered this place. They said it is the closest a cat can get to walking with StarClan without joining them among the stars.

She however couldn't help but remember how many of their ancestors, their clanmates, died when the trees fell. To her this Grove full of smooth cold stones was nothing but a burial place full of tombstones. The shadows cast by the setting sun held no comfort for her.

Still she came to the clearing nearly as often as the medicine cats. She would slip away at sun high and stay till the shadows reached her paws at the clearings center. She would count the stones Owlstar had placed moons ago and recite the names of the cats who died in the storm.

Some days she would tell them about all they had missed. Though she did not believe they could hear her. Others she would rant and curse that so many had been lost and the sorrow of losing so many she cared about.

Either way she never stayed long enough for the sun to set. If she did she would have seen the moon cast new shadow into the clearing. She would have seen the figures of cats form and step out of the shadows and onto the stones that represents them. She would have seen her father and brother, her mentor and friends. She would have heard their comforting voices telling her it was okay. They are okay. She would know she is not alone and that they are still watching over her.

But instead she leaves when the sunsets shadows reach her paws.
