Rabbitpaw crouched in the bushes. I got you now! Finally, I can impress my Clan. Rabbitpaw has always wanted to impress his clan. He wanted to be the best warrior in all of the forest. But sometimes he was thrown back by obstacles. He knew that this catch would surely make his leader proud.

He swiftly sprung out of the bushes. But... he noticed something. The rabbit he was after hadn't moved. Was it fake? Had a Twoleg put it up to trick him? "What?" he meowed. The rabbit looked at him and cocked it's head. He jumped back, scared. The rabbit WAS alive!

He lifted a fluffy paw and cautiously stepped forward. "Are you.. not afraid?" He looked around, worrying his leader might see him foolishly talking to a rabbit. He curled his slim tail under his belly. He stepped back, scared that his already poor reputation in the Clan would get worse.

"I-I can't stay." He turned around and started to disappear into the bushes, but something tugged his back paw. He turned around to face the rabbit. As he looked more at the rabbit, he realized something. It looked oddly just like him. Of course, the spots were different, but everything else was the same. It's tiny black eyes blinked.

Right, he had to hunt this thing! But.. he couldn't bring himself to. Instead, the rabbit nuzzled up to him. That's when he decided a plan. He would protect the rabbit while hunting, and would see it whenever he leaves. Now, when the Clan found out his secret, they agreed to not hurt the rabbit. They understood his bond, and it wasn't against the warrior code. So now, as he lay in the elders den, his pet rabbit friend Carrots lays with him. [298 words][/b]

Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.

Percherons are a breed of draft horse that originated in the Huisne river valley in western France, most commonly seen in a black or grey color. They are well muscled, and known for their intelligence and willingness to work, as well as being generally peaceful creatures that are lovable and easy to train. They're seen between 15 and 19 hands high, and 1,900 to 2,600 pounds. Percherons were originally bred for use as war horses, but over time, they began to be used for pulling stagecoaches and later for agriculture and hauling heavy goods. They have been crossed with several light horse breeds, such as Arabians, to produce horses for range work and competition, but are still used for forestry work and pulling carriages.

Sleepy Hollow Percherons originates from the northern midwest United States, home to many varieties of horse from many different backgrounds of work; working as police mounts in Australia to forestry and farm work in Great Britain, parades, sleigh rides and hayrides around the world, and competing in various classes such as dressage and classic cart. Sleepy Hollow Percherons can very commonly seen in equine therapy and beginner riding lessons as well due to their gentle, relaxed behavior.

Welcome to the world of Paper Ponies!
Paper ponies are a magical breed, known to only be as tall as a paperclip.
How these ponies came to be is unknown, but what we do know is that they can jump into and out of books as they please. This can sometimes wreak havoc on the book, leaving misspelled words or even distorted chapters. But it can also allow them to take things out of the book with them. Some Paper Ponies have even been known to take entire characters out of the book with them, leaving their owners very confused at the tiny people running around their homes.
Paper Ponies can come in many different colors and styles, some looking like average horses and others looking like they came right out of a child’s fairytale, perhaps nightmare even.

Timberwood Wild Horses, first seen in Ireland, are a mix of Belgian Drafts, Mustangs and the local Connemara horses. Due to a burning barn in 1968 a lot of horses were released, the ones that were not found then joined the Connemara herds around and forgotten about. A couple years later, foals with unusual coat colors and a drafty appearance were spotted that could not possibly be pure Connemara ponys. One of them was captured and gene tested which revealed among others the above named breeds. The foal grew up to be a very well tempered, strong and pretty individual, so the responsible Timberwood Sanctuary left them alone, closely monitoring the development of those horses and their offspring. Annually, similar to the Mustang Makeovers and Dülmener Wild Horse Event, a couple of the horses are captured and auctioned off to regulate their numbers within the herds. All of them and their offspring must be registered by the TSR (Timberwood Sanctuary Registration). Nowadays the Timberwood Horse is known widely and the captured horses and their offspring exported all over the world for competitions and as working horses. Due to being crossbred, they can appear in pretty much any color variations and even developed a bunch of markings only seen in those horses, they range from 13 to 17hh.

Part 1: This little kitten learning that not everyone wants a mate and that is normal aka aroace.

"...and the princess and her prince lived happily ever after, the end."

As the teacher closed her book, she eyed all the energetic kittens practically vibrating in place.

"Oh all right, off you go. Just remember to not exclude anyone as you play and lunch will be ready in thirty minutes."

The teacher packed her book away as all the kittens rushed off. When she turned back, she jumped, startled to find one lone brown kitten sitting staring up at her.

"Oh, X, is there something you need? Why aren't you playing with the others?"

"I wanted to know more about the princess and the prince! The story said they lived happily ever after, but what does that mean?"

"Well, for most stories when a prince and princess live 'happily ever after' it means they grew up and mated, and they became a mommy and a daddy by having lots of cute little kittens like you!"

The little kitten scuffed her paws in the dirt before asking, "But Snickerdoodle doesn't have a mommy. He has two daddies."

"Well, you're right that mates don't need to be a mommy and a daddy. Some kittens have two mommies and some have two daddies. And when you grow up and have a mate, no matter your mate's gender identity, you can have your own babies.

X tilted their head as they thought about that. "But what if I don't want a mate? What if I just want to have babies by myself?"

Their teacher lifted a paw to her face and coo'd as though X was just a little toddler saying adorable.

"Oh, don't worry dear, you'll understand when you're older. Now go on and play, I really must go and check on the others," she said before turning and walking away.

X stared after their teacher, tail and ears drooping. Why did everyone keep saying that? X knew they didn't want a mate, but everyone kept assuming they'd grow out of feeling this way. Maybe everyone else was right? After all, X had never known anyone with only a mommy or daddy before. Lots of their friends had a mommy and daddy, Snickerdoodle and his siblings had two daddies, and X knew that Autumn's daddy had two mommies. Maybe this was something only adults could understand?

As X went off to join everyone playing, they noticed that on the other side of the field everyone was playing in there were four Storkies they had never met before. There was a little red and white kitten and a red and black tortoiseshell kitten about X's age playing with a slighty older black kitten while a blue and cream adult watched over the three kittens. Remembering their teacher's remarks on not excluding anyone from playing, X started to toddle off towards the new people to invite them over.

"Hello! My names's X, what's yours?"

The red and white kitten jumped forward, "Hi! I'm Mara and these are my sisters Auma and Cordelia!" As she spoke, the red tortoiseshell and black kittens waved their paws.

"Hi! Do you want to play with me and my friends?"

The younger two looked up at Cordelia. "We'd have to ask our mom first.."

The blue and cream Storkie walked closer. "Did I hear you mention me? And whose your new friend?"

"Mom, this is our new friend X! Can we go play with everyone?"

"Of course sweetie!"

Not even noticing their new friends racing off, X stared up at the beautiful lady. "Wow... you must be a princess. Do you have a prince? I mean a mate."

"No, I don't have a mate, honey."

X's eyes went wide, "I'm so sorry-"

"Oh, no, you misunderstand. I've never had a mate."

"But... you have kittens. My teacher says you have to have a mate to have babies."

"That is certainly one way to have babies. But as someone who identifies as aroace, I never wanted a mate. Instead, I found kittens in need of a home and became their mother."

"You can do that?!? I mean... you don't need a mate to have babies?"

Gaia smiled softly, "Yes, that's right. Just as a mated pair having kittens is normal, so is just one person having kittens.
