A compas that swears that you are always facing East, A mirror that no longer can cast a reflection, the music box who's melodic voice has long since gone silent. The contents of Kirans most recent rescues. Piles of what others would consider broken, or trash, would find its way home here by legit means or more illegal methods. Luckily, not many charmings would be able to recognize her when she dons her mask of bone when its dark enough..

Delicately Kiran places her findings on her work table along side the skull she wears as a mask, reaching up, she flicks the makeshift knob of the latern hanging from the cave's roof. Firelight glows warmly, bouncing off the obsidian walls - illuminating Kiran's hoard. Amongst the organized chaos, stands a few things of interest- A beautiful grand clock who has long forgotten what time is yet, it still manages to chime out its haunting tune at the most random of intervals, A thorny plant that trails up a rickety post; its vines reaching towards the daylight that bleeds through a hole in the top of the cave. Alongisde the clock is a rundown carriage it's wheels forever still, never to move again, inside there is bedding strewn about inside as this is where Kiran sleeps.

Retrieving her tools she gently pries open the music box and begins her work, replacing the broken comb of the music box with one made of various silverware Kiran had required over her years collecting. The day comes and goes but eventually Kiran places the key into the box; twisting the key, the gears wind, grinding briefly then stoping.
"I'm sorry.. Its unfair, someone must've loved you dearly, but as soon as you break they toss you away." Kiran sighs, looking at the worn down edges of the box, the wood corners grooved from years of winding.
Kiran pops back open the box, revealing its rusty gears, one by one Kiran delicately removed them and cleaned them to the best of her ability and replaced them into the box. After a few anxious moments, and a few more adjustments to the music box the silence is broken. A beautiful melody ruptures from the box, the rusty gears coming to life, singing in rejoice.
"this is really the best part.. isnt it?" Kiran allows a smile to break through her exhaustion- her own voice bouncing back to her through the cave. Looking towards the hole in the cave roof, the moon shines through, taunting Kiran with its glow.
Gently grabbing the music box, Kiran leaves the rest of the items for tommorrow, as she places the still singing contraption on a make shift shelf by the carriage.
Now is not time to rest, the moon calls.
After all- Kiran thinks to herself - another charmings trash, is this ones treasure and who is going to waste a cloudy night like this sleeping. Flicking off the latern Kiran dons her mask she exits the cave, leaving her home once again.
(Probably going to pretty this up later and check for errors aa)
