Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.

"H-Help me!" An unfamiliar cat yowls as Speckled'snow is out hunting for her clan. She stops in her tracks and turns around to see a horrified, battered she-cat staring at her, wide-eyed. "Who are you? You're not supposed to be in Willow'clan territory!" She hisses. "My- my kits!" The she-cat says. "Please! I can explain later!" The she-cat turns around and sprints away. "Wait!" Speckled'snow yowls. She chases the she-cat to a field outside of clan territory. The she-cat is hissing and yowling, fighting a large orange figure near an abandoned badger den. Kits crying can be heard coming from the den. Speckled'snow rushes forward and stares in horror at the she-cat fighting the fox with her little bit of strength left. Speckled'snow leaps on the fox and deals a hard blow to its side. The fox yaps and limps away. "T-Thank you... I owe you my life..." The she-cat mutters to Speckled'snow as she limps into the den, licking her kits foreheads.

Speckled'snow had saved the lives of 5 kits and a desperate she-cat.

The screaming continued, leading Lionheart straight to the cat in trouble. His paws carried him over the cracked and broken roads as he leaped over and around the overturned and long dead monsters littering the streets.

The voice was close now, and cornered from the sound of it. There, Lionheart thought, spotting an alleyway. He clambered onto one of the roofs overlooking the alleyway and peered down. A dog had cornered a small, wispy-haired cat. He couldn't recognize the cat- he was never that good with faces.

The small cat looked up, eyes lighting up when it spotted Lionheart. ``You there! Please! Help me! Distract this dog, please!``, he yelped. The dog inched closer, barking at the small cat in the alleyway. Lionheart scrunched his nose and shrugged. ``Coward``, he sighed. The small cat's heart sank. ``Too afraid to die for your clan? You would rather return to your clan a coward than join Starclan a hero?``, Lionheart snorted.

He stepped away from the ledge, the top of his head just visible to the cat in the alleyway. ``You will be missed, truly, but this is something all warriors long for. I envy you``. Lionheart walks away from the alleyway, being careful to take a safe way home.

The Lone Bashkir Curly horse is a very unique and set apart breed. They are well known for their curly coats, caused by many gene mutations, and their versatility. Lone Curly Horses are often found as chestnut, but have a wide variety of colors, some more rare than others. They range in a height of 13-16 hands, but are often found between 14-15 hands. These horses are found wild in Nevada, USA. Although they are wild, they are also known for their calm and gentle nature. Lone Bashkir Curly Horses got their name due to them not staying in herds with other horses, like most do. Since they are always separated, they often wonder far into owned land and cause disruptions. They have very much grown in population, and many problems have arose, therefore creating the LBC Organization. The LBC Organization is running a rehoming program to protect these horse's while still preserving them. If you're interested, keep an eye out as many are posted for rehoming daily.

The Lone Bashkir Curly horse is a very unique and set apart breed. They are well known for their curly coats, caused by many gene mutations, and their versatility. Lone Curly Horses are often found as chestnut, but have a wide variety of colors, some more rare than others. They range in height from 13-16 hands, but are often found between 14-15 hands. These horses are found wild in Nevada, USA. Although they are wild, they are also known for their calm and gentle nature. Lone Bashkir Curly Horses got their name due to them not staying in herds with other horses. Since they are always separated, they often wander far into owned land and cause disruptions. They have very much grown in population, causing problems and wreaking havoc, therefore creating the need for a relocation organization. The LBC Organization is running a rehoming program to protect these horses while still preserving them. If you're interested, keep an eye out for LBCs looking for a new place to call home!

Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.
